College of the Redwoodsabout the college2011-2012 catalogFacilitiesThe College has three primary campuses and severaladditional instructional sites where courses andprograms are offered to serve the educational needsof Humboldt, Del Norte, coastal Mendocino, andwestern Trinity counties.The Del NorteEducation Centerserves approximately1,000 students and islocated on a 34-acresite in Crescent City,80 miles north ofEureka and 20 milessouth of the Oregonborder. The Del NorteEducation Centeroffers university transfer programs as well as specific degreeand/or certificate programs in Addiction Studies, Business,Corrections, Early Childhood Education, Liberal Arts (withseveral areas of emphasis), Licensed Vocational Nursing andMedical Assisting, and Community Education classes.The Mendocino Coast Education Center servesThe Eurekacampus servesapproximately 7,000students and is locatedon a 270-acre siteseven miles south ofthe city of Eureka.
