He is the founder of Radio Systems Corp., chairman of Boyd Sports, and owner ofseveral area baseball teams. He served as chairman of the Tennessee Higher Education Commissionand as commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.While serving as past Gov.
