The wide body models have additional 40mm of track both atthe front and rear of the vehicle and the team at SmartBar has developed a new frontalprotection system styled to accomodate both.Specifically designed for the 2015 Toyota HiLux as a partial bumper replacement,the latest model of SmartBar’s Vehicle Frontal Protection System (VFPS) perfectlycomplements the design and shape of the vehicle. The SmartBar maintains all of thefactory accessories and all the while provides unparalleled safety.Designed to suit the WorkMate (including Low Rider), SR, SR5 and the Rogue,accommodating the facelift introduced in 08/2018. Chassis Mounts:The chassis mount design for the SmartBarcomprises of a two part construction whichallows for three axis adjustability, to achievea solid and perfect fit every time.All brackets have been tested and complywith Vehicle Air Bag, Winch Maximum PullExertion and Australian Safety Standards.Pedestrian Safety:SmartBar’s have been tested and provento be less likely to cause serious injury topedestrians than other alternatives. This isdue to the hollow construction which allowsthe bar to absorb most of the impact alongwith the unique and specifically designedco-polymer material.Recovery Point:The HiLux SmartBar, in both winch and nonwinch configurations, is compatible with theARB recovery points to assist with vehiclerecovery. Under Vehicle Protection:The HiLux SmartBar in both winch and nonwinch configurations, is compatible with theARB Under Vehicle Protection (UVP).Day Time Running Lights:The SmartBar design incorporates highquality Hella Day Time Running Lights (DRL)to provide additional safety when drivingduring daylight hours. The DRL is designedto turn on with the vehicle ignition and offwhen the vehicle parker lights are turned on.DRL’s are supplied as standard for the SR5and Rogue SmartBar, and are an optionalaccessory for other models. Antenna Mounts:There are antenna mounts incorporatedon the top loops of the bull bar. TheSmartBar is supplied with a single antennamount.
