We are so grateful for all that ourlocal community does to support Special Olympics, not only here, but aroundthe state. Last year the Torch Run raised over 1,000,000 for athletes across

We need coaches!Will you be our next coach?Special Olympics Gaston County would like to offer track and field for athletes thisspring (March-early June).We are currently looking for one more track and field coach, along with one or moreflag football coaches.Track and field and flag football athletes would practice one time per week and havethe opportunity for competitions throughout the season, similar to other spring sports.Flag football can be traditional (Special Olympics athletes only) or unified (bothindividuals with without intellectual disabilities of the same ability level playingalongside one another).If interested, please email local coordinator Ashley Anderson at gaston@sonc.netASAP.
