VERTIV XTE 801 SERIESNetwork Edge EnclosureKEY FEATURESyy Lightweight walk-in steelstructure — low maintenance, high quality designyy Superior weather resistancedesigned to withstand windloads of 125 mph and beyondand snow loads up to 200 PSFyy Exterior facade canbe customized to meetlocal requirementsyy Thermal management —“free cooling” utilizes patentedflexible air intake hydrophobicfilter vent option with standbyHVAC for high temperature andemergency conditionsyy Noise reduction kitsavailable to meet mostmunicipal requirementsVersatile, low-cost Vertiv XTE 801 Series Enclosuresprotect vital electronics from extreme weather conditionswherever that equipment needs to be located.DescriptionThe Vertiv XTE 801 Series Network Edge Enclosure, constructed entirely of lightweightsteel, ensures vital electronic equipment is protected from vandalism and environmentaldamage. The interior walls and ceiling are covered with a non-metallic, non-reflective wallboard, and the floor is finished with an industrial grade non-slip floor tiling. The VertivXTE 801 Series comes standard with R12 insulation. Due to the small size of theseenclosures, special building permits are not typically required in most municipal regions. The standard painted steel finish is available in off-white and gray-green. Customfinishes are available upon request.ApplicationThe Vertiv XTE 801 Series Network Edge Enclosure is designed to house and protectenvironmentally sensitive electronics at telecommunications sites including cellular, microwave radio, sites with clusters of baseband units for cloud or centralized radioaccess networks (C-RAN), and edge applications with virtualized networks.yy Vertiv offers turnkey packagesfor custom configurations andinstallation needs1

VERTIV XTE 801 SERIESEnclosureConstructionUp to 12" Tall BaseCommercial AC KitWelded galvanized steel constructionprovides outstanding impact andcorrosion resistance. Interlocking steelpanel construction, 14 gauge steel walls, floor and ceiling and 12 gauge steelceiling joists provide superior weatherresistance and protection. To accommodate antenna feeders, thebase includes plinth with removable steelcover plates on front and back. Fork lifttubes on front and back are also included. The commercial AC kit features a 200amp main Power Transfer Switch (PTS)system with transfer provided betweenthe primary and secondary power sources(utility or generator), utilizing a Camlokstyle generator connector.ProtectionThe powder coat finish protects againstrain, sleet, snow, splashing water anddamage from external ice formation, andmeets GR487 Telcordia mechanical andenvironmental standards for telecomenclosures (720 hrs. salt fog test).InsulationTo minimize energy costs, the floor isinsulated with R-12 fiberglass batt, and thewall cavities and cavities between theceiling and roof are insulated with R-12fiberglass batt with vapor barrier. Custom"R" values available upon request.Radiant Barrier RoofEffective for reducing solar heat gain andreduce cooling costs, the Vertiv XTE 801Enclosure features a radiant barrier roofconstructed of 12 gauge galvanized steelin a four truss roof design with a powdercoat finish. Features include taped12 gauge galvanized seams and arubberized roof coating applied afterpainting (Garna-White).yyIntegrated with 1/4" steellifting brackets at topAccess Doors & HardwareFor security and easy access, the cabinetis equipped with an 18 gauge galvanizedsteel commercial grade insulated doorwith an outward opening of 30" x 84"(3070) and a 16 gauge galvanized steelframe.
