2012-2013 Post-graduation Employment ReportStudent Enrollment in Experiential Education Programs(Experiential Learning Includes: Internships, Practicums, Clinicals, Student Teaching, Co-ops, and Field Experiences)Internship Achievements Awarded 30,436 in grants to 12 departments (Environmental Studies, Exercise Science, Finance,Hospitality Tourism Management, International Relations, Legal Studies, Management, Office ofIntegrative Learning & Advising, Professional Science Masters, Sport Leadership, The Women’sCenter, and Writing). As a result of this funding, 153 new employer relationships were built (five ofthem international contacts) and 289 additional contacts were identified; 206 employers participatedin IMG sponsored events; and 222 internships were generated (both directly and indirectly) Held annual Internship Recognition Luncheon thanking campus, community, and employer partnersfor their work in enhancing internship initiatives. This year we had a record 105 students nominatedfor Outstanding Intern of the Year, and 33 internship supervisors nominated for OutstandingInternship Supervisor of the Year! In addition, two employers received the Outstanding InternshipEmployer of the Year, and one faculty member received the Outstanding Internship Advocate of theYear award. Financially assisted 30 students completing unpaid internships through the Career Center InternshipAward, totaling 15,000 Expanded the Internship Management System (IMS), the Career Center’s online tracking system forstudents completing credit-bearing internships.6
