CCS RETAIL SYSTEMS OVERVIEW4-9-2019 CCS has provided systems for specialty retail organizations, including GiftShops, since the 1980s. CCS has hundreds of retail customers in the USA and Canada. Many of thesecustomers are in the western states. Our customer profiles include small to large retailers with dozens ofgeographically dispersed locations. Several of our customers have gift shops, pro shops, and the like. We have several existing customers with healthcare gift shop requirements in theUSA. CCS is a full-service reseller providing sales, installation, support, service,training, and custom programming. CCS offers complete, integrated software and hardware solutions based on NCRproducts and related third-party products. At CCS we emphasize quick and effective support. Our average response timesto support calls are 15 minutes. We offer voice support conversations to facilitatequicker resolution times than are possible with chat or email-only support. Weare in the PST time zone as is Legacy Health. Our technicians are continuallytrained to keep their knowledge as current as possible. Our average techniciantenure is over 10 years at present. Our support and service contracts offer extended hours of service and weekendon-call options. NCR offers two primary POS solutions suitable for gift shops. We have chosenthe Counterpoint system, a Windows 10 and Microsoft SQL system, as theclosest fit for Legacy Health. NCR also offers the Silver SAAS, cloud-based,entry-level system. If the budget for this acquisition is limited, we can proposeSilver as an alternative solution. Silver has a more limited feature set and aconsiderably different infrastructure. CCS offers dozens of add-ons for Counterpoint developed by our programminggroup. To meet your requirements, we are proposing the Common CentsGEMpay Payroll deduction software and our proprietary Counterpoint interface.The GEMpay add-ons are in use at dozens of Healthcare Gift Shops in ourcustomer base. We have often encountered Gift Shop Software without true full-featured POSsystem features. These systems were too incomplete or cumbersome for thevolunteers and other staff at the Gift Shops, according to the store managers.We suggest Legacy Health give strong consideration to acquiring a true, fullyfeatured POS system like Counterpoint. POS functions that are critical may notbe fully apparent at the outset and impractical to add later.
