Theinvitation-only event was heldon Fri., Aug. 15 at VillacortaElementary in La Puente.An outpouring of community support allows AldabellaScarpa, owned by alumnaMonica Gonzales, to giveback to La Puente schools inthe Rowland Unified SchoolDistrict. For now theyare said to be waiving the 57.50 violation penalty feethrough Labor Day, as longas the toll is paid within a 30day time frame. They are alsoinstalling more signage, andflashing information on nearbyfreeway information boards tohelp guide those heading forthe toll booths.It makes sense that the confusion has added significantlyto the number of calls cominginto the toll agencies.
