The Children who were in the Christmas tableau The adults who helped with the tableau The Knights of Columbus who changed the curtains andset up the Christmas trees and the Nativity scene (inside& outside) and also took them down The ladies who arranged the flowers The ladies who ironed the curtains and altar cloths The choir and the servers for both of the ChristmasMasses Father MurraySt. Agnes Parish – Report of Commission Council MeetingSt. Agnes Commission Council met on January 17, 2013. Faithformation classes resumed after the Christmas holiday. A YouthMinistry group has been formed. Offertory contributions showeda small increase during December and, at this time, the financialpicture is encouraging. This needs to continue to ensure thegrowth of our parish. Lenten devotions were discussed (see futureBulletins for more information). The Ladies Guild reported asuccessful Thanksgiving pie sale. The Knights were able todonate to several organizations as a result of the Tootsie Rollsales, and are continuing with their plans to remodel the ParishHall. A donation was received to enable a further upgrade to thesound system. A wireless microphone has been ordered andshould be available shortly. This should alleviate the noises inthe sound system. After a brief pause, the monthly coffee willresume on February 3rd following the 8:30 Mass. All arewelcome. It was noted that more parish activities and programinformation needs to be submitted to the office for inclusion inthe weekly bulletin. All parish groups are encouraged to followthrough with this request. The next meeting of the CommissionCouncil is Thursday, February 21, 2013, at 5:30 PM. Anyonefrom the parish is welcome (and encouraged) to attend themeetings.
