As many of you know, the 6 year bug infestation is finally over. Therefore, we can finally begin this project by restoring and expanding our organ. The first step will be to RESTORE the current organ. Here are the restoration steps according to the MilnarOrgan Company: 1) Remove all pipe work and return to their shop found in Eagleville, TN. 2) Thoroughly clean the organ.3) Adjust all magnet springs and clean/replace magnet pallets. 4) Improve wiring at relay and lower organ. 5) Clean and straighten all pipework. 6) Repair pipes as needed. 7) Re-shim caps and stoppers. 8) Re-felt chimes strikers, adjust volume. 9) Reinstall pipes and add bracing to pipe racks as needed. 10) Voice organ as needed. 11) Tune, and re-voice, at completion of project. Cost will be 32-35,000. Any financial help you can give for this project will be greatly appreciated.ST.
