The freestanding design enables high-speed extract which curbs gasconsumption; a sump-less design and AquaFall system ensures a quality clean using less water;and the control allows for superior programmability and heightened energy-efficiency.freestanding designsump-less engineeringFreestanding Design ExpressWash offersa refreshing freestanding design that enablesextract speeds of up to 381 G-force, about 250G-force more than most hard-mount washers.The super-speed extract removes more waterfrom each load—reducing dryer gas consumption and slashing the time required to do laundry.AquaMixer systemSump-less Engineering Most washersgather water in a sump at the base of thewasher drum to heat it before delivering it intothe load. This requires filling both the sumpand the washer drum. ExpressWash Washersare designed without a sump—saving up to3 gallons of water with each fill. In addition toconserving water, the sump-less design alsosaves the energy required to heat the water.Over the life of the machine, the combinedwater and energy savings is substantial whencompared to machines with an outer tub sump.AquaFall and AquaMixer Continental’s exclusive AquaFall andAquaMixer systems further curb water usage.AquaFall releases water into the load via holesin the drum lifters. As the drum turns, liftersrelease water from above to better penetratefabric. Most other frontloads use lifters to simply drop fabric into a pool of water at the bottom of the washer drum. AquaMixer further improves efficiency by mixing hot and cold water beforeentering the drum. This achieves very precisewater temperatures—offering greater controlover hot water consumption.Sensible Detergent DispensingExpressWash Washers feature a detergentdispenser with up to four compartments—onefor powder, one for optional pre-wash and twofor liquid products. An oversized seal aroundthe dispenser keeps bleach, softeners anddetergents where they belong and a powerful compartment flushing system reducesmaintenance by thoroughly cleaning eachcompartment after every cycle. An automaticliquid chemical injection option is availablefor storeowners that want one more way todifferentiate their store from the competition.Control Flexibility The highly programmable CC Control putsstoreowners in the driver’s seat with four modifiable programs—Superwash, Hot, Warm and Cold. Unlike most washers on the market,ExpressWash allows programmability of G-force extract, mechanical action,wash temperature (by degree), water levels and wash/rinse/extract timein each phase. The control’s flexibility allows multi-level vend pricing on thesame machine depending on the wash program selected, time of day, orday of the week.
