Installation GuideMEASURING: In order to make aproper and neat joint, we shouldmeasure the pipe length accuratelyand make a visible marking usinga pen. Ensure that the Pipe andFittings are compatible.FITTING PREPERATION: Use aclean dry cloth, wipe the dirt andmoisture from the Fittings, socketsand Pipe. Dry fit the Pipe to ensuretotal entry into the bottom of theFittings socket and make a visiblemarking using a dark pen.CUTTING: We can cut the Pipeeasily with a sharp saw/cutter.Cutting the Pipe as squarely aspossible (at 90O) provides optimalbonding area within a joint.SOLVENT CEMENT APPLICATION:Use only APL Apollo CPVC Cementto ensure a perfect solvent weldjoint. When making a joint, applyan even coat of cement on the Pipeend & also inside the Fitting socket.Inspect Pipe ends thoroughly priorto make a joint. If a crack or splintering is noticed cut off aminimum of 25 mm beyond the visible crack before proceedingDEBURING/BEVELING:Burrsin and on end can obstruct flowor proper contact between thePipe and socket of the Fittingduring assembly and should beremove from both in and outsideof the Pipe.A slight bevel end of the Pipe will ease entry of the Pipe intothe socket of the Fitting socket.Do not use thickened or lumpy solvent cement; it should havea flow consistency like syrup.ASSEMBLY: Immediately afterapplying the solvent, insert thePipe into the socket. Rotate thePipe ½ or ¼ while inserting. Thismotion ensures an even distributionof cement within the joint.
