Soap-based detergents or “mop and shine” products are notrecommended for use on laminate floors as these may leave a dullfilm on your floor. Floor machines, buffers and scrubbers are not recommended formaintaining laminate floors. Abrasive cleansers, abrasive scrubbing pads, steel wool or scouringpowders may scratch the floor if used. Do not apply wax or polish your floor. Laminate flooring, like other types of smooth finish floors, can becomeslippery when wet. Immediately wipe up wet areas from spills, foreignsubstances or wet feet. Remove tough spots like shoe polish, tar and asphalt driveway sealwith adhesive cleaner , low-odor mineral spirits or nail polish removercontaining acetone (follow instructions on label).
