Refer-a-Friend Reward SchemeWe operate a Refer-a-Friend reward scheme (“RAF Scheme”). You may only participate in the RAF Scheme if youare invited by us to do so and your participation is entirely at our discretion.To use the RAF Scheme you must follow the instructions published on our website from time to time. As a memberof the RAF Scheme you will be given a unique link to our sign up page (your “RAF Link”), which is available fromyour control panel. Your RAF Link may be shared via email, social media or on other websites. You may not usethe following methods to promote your RAF Link:Email SPAM: sending unsolicited marketing email. However, you may send emails to people you know or whohave given you permission to send them marketing emails for products and services similar to HideMyAss.com;Comment SPAM: posting referral links on blogs, message boards and forums in cases where the discussion orcontent is not related to the services we offer. When a customer follows your RAF Link to our site, we place a tracking cookie on that customer’s computer ormobile device which will be used to identify that customer as a referral from you provided that customer creates anaccount (including a free account) on our site within 30 days (after which the cookie expires). If the original reward was in the form of free VPN days, and such removal resultsin your account having negative VPN days, then this will be subtracted from any future subscription purchased byyou, or reward days granted to you through the RAF Scheme.If your subscription has already expired when a reward is made, then that reward will be suspended by us andonly become available to you to use after you purchase a new subscription. Suspended rewards are also liable tobe cancelled for the same reasons as active rewards. If an account has been disabled by us for any reason, then itis also ineligible for RAF rewards.
