Dr. Weber asked what kindinformation the Division has given licensees who do not belong to the Association of Realtorsinforming them that at the end of two years, in the middle of their four year license, that theyhave to complete their continuing education.Gail Anderson stated that the Division is putting this information in a second Divisionnewsletter. Ms. Anderson stated that this was covered in the last newsletter in November. Ms.Anderson stated that the newsletter is mailed to active licensees.3-A) FOR POSSIBLE ACTION: DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING BIDSRECEIVED FROM EDUCATION SPONSORS TO TEACH WHAT EVERY LICENSEE SHOULDKNOW (WELSK) 2014 AND 2015 UNDERWRITTEN BY THE EDUCATION AND RESEARCHFUND (ERF).Safia Anwari presented the Commission a summary of the proposals from sponsors that wish tooffer the What Every Licensee Should Know course. Ms. Anwari stated that the contracts willbecome effective once approved by the Board of Examiners after July and will run throughFiscal Year 14. Ms. Anwari stated that if in the best interest of the State will be extended untilFiscal Year 15. Ms. Anwari stated that the Division is requesting the Commission’s approval ofthe Division’s recommendation of approval of the proposals.Commissioner Sykes moved to approve the recommendation presented by Division staff.Seconded by Commissioner Opatik. 5) Commissioner CommentsCommissioner Boyer thanked Division staff for putting the agenda together to approveeducation.Commissioner Sykes asked Division staff if the Commission should anticipate anotherteleconference meeting to approve courses regarding legislative updates.Gail Anderson stated that the next Commission meeting is July 16-18, 2013 in the south. Ms.Anderson stated that the education section has already anticipated this and has sent outinformation to providers intending to submit legislative update classes. Ms. Anderson stated thatthe deadline for providers to submit classes is June 27, 2013.
