Per the CARES Act, the NJ TRANSIT requests 100% federal share. NJ TRANSIT is requestingthe entire Section 5311 CARES Act allocation. The funds support rural program activities and one intercity program.NJ TRANSIT agrees that if it receives Federal funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) orthrough a pass-through entity through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, adifferent Federal agency, or insurance proceeds for any portion of a project activity approved for FTA funding underthis Grant Agreement, it will provide written notification to FTA, and reimburse FTA for any Federal share thatduplicates funding provided by FEMA, another Federal agency, or an insurance company.Funds include 9,991,159 for the state’s fourteen (14) subrecipients (15 projects-Senior Citizens United CommunityServices (SCUCS) has two projects) to support operating assistance, planning, equipment purchases, and projectadministration; 1,332,154 for NJ TRANSIT’s state administration; and 1,998,232 ( 13,321,545 x .15 1,998,232)for one intercity project (Academy Bus Lines).
