CLASSI CThe Classic was created for those who love allthat a single cutaway solid body guitar has tooffer, but do not want to sling over 9 lbs ofrock n roll over their shoulder night afternight. With all the same appointments as theHeritage Standard including a pair of SeymourDuncan Humbuckers, ’59 in the neck and a JB inthe bridge or a pair of Seymour Duncan P90’s(*Classic TBK), this guitar is only light on onething.weight. Every ounce of tone still remainsin this lighter cousin of “The Standard”. REX BROWNRex Brown Solo, Pantera, KDHRex Brown is an American musician and author,best known as founding member of and longtimebassist for the Grammy nominated, platinumselling group, PANTERA (1982-2003). He is aformer member of the band DOWN (2003-2011) andis currently the bassist for KILL DEVIL HILL.He is now heading up his first major soloproject, with the album “REX BROWN – Smoke OnThis.” set for release in Summer 2017. Rex nowtakes the helm as lead vocalist, Guitar andBass."REX BROWN CUSTO M" SI GNATU RE M OD ELThe Rex Brown Custom Signature Model is a single cutaway solid body,designed in direct collaboration with Rex and to his exacting “dreamguitar” specs. In creating the this model, we incorporated Rex’s deepappreciation for vintage tone and feel, while bringing the best moderncomponents offered to ensure that this beast would be able to capturehis distinct voice both in the studio and on the road. The “REX” boasts akiller combo of a carved Maple top and solid Mahogany body and neck.This guitar is finished in matte black with cream 3 ply bindingsurrounding the body, neck and headstock. In order to keep this guitarsounding bright and punchy, we went with a rosewood fingerboard and weput Rex’s very personal touch on the fingerboard with a Custom SkullInlay designed directly from a ring he wears day-to-day. Custom relic’dnickel hardware includes TonePros locking bridge and saddle, GroverMini-Locking Rotomatic Tuners and nickel knurled knobs.
