Summary of Survey Findings Bottom line: Significant opportunity exists in Dallas togain widespread public support for Complete Streets ifsafety, health and economic development benefits arealso emphasized along with maintenance of existingstreets The vast majority (over 90%) of surveyed residentssupport sustainable communities with more transportationchoices, access to shops, schools and jobs close by,energy efficiency and improved air and water quality The most important cited reasons for wanting CompleteStreets include being safer, being healthier, boosting theeconomy and saving money on gas25
