In 1965, BHC was incorporatedinto the state’s system of higher education, and in 1967 EastCampus operations started at the Kewanee National Guard. Thecurrent Quad-Cities Campus was completed between 1970 and1971, and the current East Campus in Galva was completed in1977. Since those early days, Black Hawk has been about thebusiness of providing quality education through both credit andnon-credit offerings.As your President, I am dedicated to continuing the tradition of providing excellent educationalopportunities while increasing access for residents of the 9 counties we serve in western Illinois, a regionthat has a rich and diverse culture.At Black Hawk College, you will find a dedicated staff and faculty who are anxious to help you achieveyour educational goals through more than 100 career track programs and more than 47 transfer programs.We are here to pave the way for your success with exemplary learning opportunities.
