User Manual for Easy ECG Monitor9 AppendixGeneral Knowledge of ECG1 Normal sinus rhythm: In sinus conditions, SA nodepaces the heart with the regularly rate and the normalrhythm. The heart rate is in the range of 60 to 100times per minute and the rhythm is regular. P wave isnormal and each one is followed by a QRS wave. P-Rinterval: 0.12 0.20s; QRS wave: 0.06 0.10s; Noectopic ECG activity. The display of “No apparentirregularity” may be regarded as Normal sinus rhythm.Symptom: Sinus rhythm, heart rate: 60 100bpmIndication: Normal2 Several abnormal ECG waveforms1) Tachycardia: The heartbeat becomes faster.According to the rhythm of the heart, the averagerhythm beats faster than 100 times a minute. Thedisplay of “fast beat” may be doubted as Tachycardia.Symptom: heart rate 100bpm45

User Manual for Easy ECG MonitorIndication: It may occur with the normal people whohave these physiology conditions: rage, fatigue, smoking, drinking too much wine, excessive coffeeand strong tea, etc.Pathology: anemia, Hyperthyroidism, blood hypoxia, myocarditis, hypokalemia, fever, influence of somemedication (such as atropine, epinephrine etc.).Suggestion: If it belongs to pathology condition, please go to hospital.2) Bradycardia: The heartbeat becomes more slowly.According to the rhythm of the heart, the averagerhythm is less than 60 beats per minute. The displayof “slow beat” may be suspected Bradycardia.Symptom: heart rate 60bpmIndication: It occurs when healthy people fall asleep, and it can be found in athlete (or those who lovedoing sports frequently), old people, or vagusexcitement person.Pathology: Sick sinus syndrome, Ischemic heartdisease,Cardiomyopathy, intracranial hypertension, increased hypokalemia, Low temperature, period ofconvalescence of acute infectious disease or after use46

User Manual for Easy ECG Monitorsome medicines such as digitalis.Suggestion:If it belongs to the pathology condition, please see a doctor.3) Premature beat:In a normal beat a QRS waveformappears prematurely and is followed by a comebackpause. What is premature beats? It is premature contraction. The normal heart beat is always regularly, and eachbeat interval is also symmetrically; Premature beat isout of this general regulation, the heart beatsprematurely and followed by a long time interval; thephenomena of a premature beat between two heartbeats is called inserting premature beat. The displayof “early beat” may be suspected Premature beat.According to different original positions,it can bedivided into:Premature atrial Contraction, PrematureNodal Contraction and Premature VentricularContraction (PVC), which needed to be judged byexperts.Symptom: The heart beat is arrhythmic, it occurs asthe phenomenon that the heart suddenly beats andthen stops for a while. Some people have palpitationor have no symptom.47

User Manual for Easy ECG MonitorIndication: The premature beat can be foundoccasionally in healthy people, with no distinctsymptom or sometimes with palpitation. This may becaused by fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, smoking toomuch, or drinking too much wine, coffee, strong teaetc. It can be recovered without treatment. However,if premature beat occurs frequently, continuously or inmulti-focus, it will indicate functional cardiovasculardisease. please see a doctor as soon as possible。Suggestion: The character of premature beat needsprofessional to confirm, so please save the temporalfigure in time. When seeing a doctor , you can recall itto doctor to judge the character of premature( Premature Atrial Contraction, Premature NodalContraction, Premature Ventricular Contraction ormulti-focus premature beat)and help cure.Testee’s Symptom: Normal heart beat is fol
