Ferkauf Graduate School of PsychologyHISTORY OF THE SCHOOLYESHIVA UNIVERSITYFerkauf Graduate School ofPsychology is located in the Louis E.and Dora Rousso Community HealthCenter on Yeshiva University’sJack and Pearl Resnick Campus atAlbert Einstein College of Medicine.It developed from the University’sSchool of Education and CommunityAdministration (1948–57) andGraduate School of Education(1957–65). The school was renamedin 1965 to honor the vision andgenerosity of Eugene and EstelleFerkauf. It later became FerkaufGraduate School of Humanities andSocial Sciences (1966–77) andFerkauf Graduate School (1977–82).In 1975, the Departments of Psychology and Educational Psychologymerged to form the University-wideDepartment of Psychology.
