NIRF Rankings 2020Our College has been listed among the top 200 institutions in India, with 160thRank in the Engineering category by the National Institutional RankingFramework (NIRF),MinistryofHumanResourceDevelopment(MHRD), Government of India.2. AICTE Lilavati Awards 2020All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Lilavati Award 2020intends to recognize efforts being made by AICTE approved institutions to treatwomen with ‘equality and fairness’ in all spheres of their lives.Union EducationMinister Ramesh Pokhriyal felicitated the Lilavati Award Distribution Ceremonyby AICTE along with Union Minister of Textiles and Women and ChildDevelopment Smriti Irani on 18th March 2021. The event was held at the officeof AICTE at Vasant Kunj. For the AICTE’s Lilavati Award, a total of 456 entrieshad been received and out of them, 25 best entries across the 6 sub-themes wereselected by renowned experts of the area. The theme for the award was WomenEmpowerment, and the six sub-themes were - Women's Health, Sanitation andHygiene, Literacy, Self-Defense, Women Entrepreneurship and LegalAwareness.St. Joseph's College of Engineering has won 2 Prizes in AICTELilavati Awards 2020.“Winner” in Women Self Defence (1 lakh rupees)“1st Runner up” in Women Sanitation and Hygeine (75 thousands)Three of entries has been shortlisted for the final presentation.Out of whichAbove two prizes have been awarded.3.
