Dear ETS Colleagues and Friends,I am pleased to present to you the program for the 2011 National Meeting of the EvangelicalTheological Society. This list of presentations reflects the broad-based support the societyenjoys. Over five hundred papers will be presented out of over eight hundred proposalssubmitted. Nearly one hundred members participated in the selection process. While the vastmajority of the presentations will be by ETS members, we will also welcome many non-memberswho will speak to us.Each year the society addresses a perennial issue in Christian theology. A few years ago ourExecutive Committee chose “No Other Name” as the theme for this year’s meeting. This topichas been foundational to the Christian faith since Jesus claimed, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:16), and his disciplesproclaimed “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven givenamong men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). We trust that we will engage in helpful, irenic discussion of this vital \\\\\\\\\\\\\PLENARY SPEAKERSETS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEEPresidentClinton E. ArnoldTalbot School of TheologyKELLY M.
