Tison Smith of Leesburg andPatrick Hortman of Ellaville captured the Bronze medal in the SkillsUSA national Additive Manufacturing competition,and Aviation Maintenance’s Jonathan Camp of Senoia was one of the top nine finalists in the Aviation MaintenanceTechnology event. Each of these students earned the right to compete in nationals by winning first place in the stateSkillsUSA events. They chose South Georgia Tech to change their lives!South Georgia Technical College’s Medical Assisting program was highlighted by Medical Assistant Advice as the fourthbest program in Georgia. A total of 1,241 schools currently offer medical assisting education in the nation and therankings are based on academic quality, graduation rate, student to faculty ratio, net price, and student rankings andreviews.
