COURSE DESCRIPTION ANDPURPOSEThis activity is designed to foster improvements inphysicians’ and other healthcare providers’ knowledge,competence and performance in general pediatrics byexploring what constitutes ideal evidence-based practiceand applying that ideal across varied healthcare arenas.This fast-paced course will augment the traditionallecture format with expert panel discussions to enhanceknowledge base and skill sets. Her clinical and medical-educationwork focuses on developmental and behavioral problems inlow-income and underserved populations, family advocacy,parent–child relationship difficulties, and autism spectrumdisorder.
