It is atertiary level healthcare facility committed for quality patientcare, record breaking research and upto date training andteaching to produce highly skilled and well versed medicalprofessional. AIIMS Jammu once fully operational will have750-beds during Phase-I expandable to 1500 beds duringPhase-II and 2200 beds during Phase-III. The institute willbe a super-specialty green hospital incorporating the state ofthe art equipment and technology. The construction work ofPhase-I is expected to be complete by December, 2022.ABOUTIIT JAMMUIT Jammu is recognized as an “Institute of NationalImportance” under the “Institutes of Technology Act”of 1961. The IndianInstitute of Technology Jammu was inaugurated on 6thAugust 2016, and welcomed the first batch of studentsinto the campus in Paloura, Jammu. MBA (HA & HM)StudentPedagogyCommitteesThe pedagogy at IIM Jammu varies for different courseswith case studies being the predominant method formost. Apart from that, group and individual projects,student presentations, simulation exercises, businessgames, role play, field visits, etc. are used. Many coursesbring in industry experts to integrate classroom learningwith industry practice.contributions to the discussion and ensures equitabledistribution of opportunity for all students to participateover the duration of the course. Students of IIM Jammuhave prior work experience of an average 18 months.Such students get the opportunity to bring perspectivesfrom their work experience to the classroom whichsubstantially enriches the discussions.A majority of the classes are based on discussions arounda specific topic assigned for each class. Sportscommittee not just helped witness a great level of participation but alsohelped us discover great talents in various sports.Corporate Communications CommitteeCorporate Communication Committee (CCC) seeks to brand IIM Jammu in the long run. It looks after allinternal and external communications & publications and also serves as an official spokesperson forthe Institute. By ensuring the Institute’s strong presence in social networking platforms as well as digitaland press media, the Committee enhances publicity of the multifarious events that unfold within.
