FRIDAY 1THE EXERCISE OF OUR AUTHORITYAnd I heard a loud voice saying inheaven, Now is come salvation, andstrength, and the kingdom of ourGod, and the power of his Christ:for the accuser of our brethren iscast down, which accused thembefore our God day and night. Andthey overcame him by the blood ofthe Lamb, and by the word of theirtestimony; and they loved not theirlives unto the death(Revelation 12:10-11).EERFHYPOCow wonderful this is! These verses aren’ttalking about us the Church but about theTribulation saints. This is going to happen duringthe Great Tribulation period. We would have goneto heaven at this time. While these saints will havetheir role in this spiritual conflict as stated, the actualfight would be done by angels, led by Michael theArchangel.Michael the Archangel doesn’t fight for theChurch. The Bible shows us he fights for Israel. Daniel12:1 says, “And at that time shall Michael stand up,the great prince which standeth for the children of thypeople .” If you read it all the way to the 7th verse, itbecomes even more lucid that it’s dealing with Israel.6

But in our dispensation, the angels only fight in ourbehalf in things we don’t know about and things wedon’t do anything about; otherwise, they generallyminister in our behalf (Hebrews 1:14).Angels don’t need to fight in our behalf when weexercise our authority in Christ. Why? The demonsbow in response to our authority, because we’re usingthe Name of Jesus. His Name is greater than everyprincipality and power and every name that’s named, both in this world and in that which is to come!In Christianity, we’re not called to fight with devils;we cast them out: “And these signs will follow thosewho believe: In My name they will cast out demons ”(Mark 16:17 NKJV). He gave us complete authorityover Satan and all evil spirits. Praise God!YPOCCONFESSIONI’m seated together with Christ in the heavenlyrealms, far above principalities, powers, and therulers of the darkness of this world. My authority isthat of the blessed Lord Jesus Christ—the only trueGod! Now therefore, in the Name of the Lord Jesus,I affirm I have power over Satan, evil spirits andtheir works. I break their influence over leaders ofgovernments and their agencies, that the Name ofthe Lord may be glorified. SATURDAY2YOU WERE BORN A VICTORYe are of God, little children, andhave overcome them: because greateris he that is in you, than he that is inthe world (1 John 4:4).WOCYPe read Revelation 12:10-11 in our previousstudy and noted that it referred to theTribulation saints during the Great Tribulation period. It’s been written concerning them that they overcamethrough the blood of the Lamb and the word oftheir testimony. The word translated “testimony” is“marturia” (Greek) and it means report, testimony, record, witness. In our dispensation, we’re not trying or hoping toovercome Satan, demons and the antichrist spirits. No!It’s recorded concerning us that we’ve overcome themsimply because of who we are, where we are, and theOne who lives within us! We’re of God; that meanswe’re born of Him; we hail from Him and thereforeone with Him.Secondly, we’re in Christ, seated with Him in therealm of great glory, dominion and authority. Christ—the greater One—lives in us. The Bible says Christ inyou the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). No wonderJesus said, “Cheer up; I’ve overcome the world” (John16:33). The One who already overcame them is insideEERF8

you and you’re one with Him. As He is, so are we inthis world (1 John 4:17). Hallelujah! The events in the world today indicate that theseare trying times. Many are disturbed, distraught andperplexed about their health, finances, jobs andbusinesses. But you’ve been called to live aboveand dominate this world. Let that be your constantcontemplation and confession.Every so often, you say, “I’m born of God; I’veovercome the world because greater is He that isin me than he that is in the world!” Refuse to allowcircumstances get you to think otherwise. You’re avictor in Christ Jesus. You were born that way. You’veovercome the world and its systems, its failures, falsehoods, deceptions, corruption and corruptinginfluences. Glory to God!OCCONFESSIONEERYPGreater is He that’s in me than he that’s in theworld! Christ in me is my victory over the world. Ittherefore doesn’t matter the extent of the darkness orhardship in the world today; they’re opportunities forme to manifest the glory and righteousness of God.I live victoriously and triumphantly above sickness, disease, inflation and terror as I walk in God’s Word.Hallelujah!FFURTHER STUDY:1 John 5:4-5; 1 Corinthians 15:571-YEAR BIBLE READING PLANLuke 9:18-36 & Joshua 13-152-YEAR BIBLE READING PLANRomans 6:1-11 & Psalm 105Leave comments on today’s devotional atwww.rhapsodyofrealities.org9

SUNDAY 3REJOICE AND BE GRATEFULLet us be glad and rejoice, and givehonour to him: for the marriage ofthe Lamb is come, and his wife hathmade herself ready(Revelation 19:7).TEEROCYPrue Christianity is living by faith in God’s Word, where you’re forever grateful and giving gloryto God for His life in you. Your ability to expressgratitude is key to your greatness. David was neverashamed or afraid to express his gratitude to the Lordopenly. Many times, he expressed his gratitude in songsand in psalms. No wonder he lived such a great life.On a certain occasion, while I was meditating onthe awesomeness of the Lord and thanking Him forall He’s done, I was drawn to one of the psalms ofDavid, which is recorded in 1 Chronicles 16. It says,“Then on that day David delivered first this psalmto thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and hisbrethren. Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon hisname, make known his deeds among the people” (1Chronicles 16:7-8). This is so beautiful. When we realize all that the Lord has done forus in a world that’s gone so cruel and dark, and howHe glorified Jesus in our lives in an extraordinary way,F10

we can only be full of gratitude to Him. Don’t live likethose who are blind to all the good things happening inand around them for which they ought to be grateful. The New International Version of our underlinedportion of the opening verse says, “Let us rejoice andbe glad and give him glory.” Always, we shouldpraise the Lord, declaring that He’s the One who hasgiven us victory over the world and its systems. He’sexalted the Name of Jesus in our lives, and through us,He spreads salvation to the world. Trust Him with yourlife and be full of gratitude to Him every day.PRAYERYPOCHeavenly Father, thank you for giving me victoryover the world and its systems, and imparting intomy spirit the faith that conquers the world. You’veexalted the Name of the Lord Jesus in my life, andthrough me, you’ve brought salvation to many. I’llmake known your deeds and the awesomeness ofyour power in my life. Thank you for your mercy andyour love that’s new every morning! Your Name ispraised and glorified forever in heaven and in all theearth, in Jesus’ Name. MONDAY 4THE CLOUD OF GLORYFor the cloud of the LORD was uponthe tabernacle by day, and fire was onit by night, in the sight of all the houseof Israel, throughout all their journeys(Exodus 40:38).MOCYPatthew 17 tells us that Peter, James andJohn were with Jesus on the Mount ofTransfiguration. While they were there, Moses andElijah appeared, and suddenly, the cloud of Godcovered them (Matthew 17:5). This same cloud wasreferenced in Exodus 13:21 and Exodus 16:10 (studyboth references). We find a remarkable scenario in our theme verse:for forty years, the children of Israel saw the cloud ofGod’s glory upon the tabernacle by day and as a pillarof fire by night. This is really significant because Isaiah63:9 says, “In all their affliction he was afflicted, andthe angel of his presence saved them: in his love andin his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, andcarried them all the days of old.”The next verse tells us that the Angel of Hispresence is the Holy Spirit: “But they rebelled, andvexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to betheir enemy, and he fought against them” (Isaiah63:10). He was the One that was with them in thatcloud of glory. Then the Bible says in 1 Corinthians10:1-2: “Moreover, brethren, I would not that yeshould be ignorant, how that all our fathers wereEERF12

under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; Andwere all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in thesea.” Remarkable! Now, 2 Chronicles 5:1-14 gives us an interestingaccount: Solomon had built the temple of God andthe priests were to take the Ark of God from the oldtabernacle and bring it into the new temple built bySolomon. When the Ark was brought in, this samecloud of glory filled the temple so much so that thepriests couldn’t stand to minister in the Holy Place.Hallelujah! That glory is in you and overshadows you today, because you’re the bearer of the Ark. The Ark of Godis in your heart today because His Word is written inyour heart (Jeremiah 31:33, Hebrews 8:10). The Wordis where the glory is. As long as you give the Word ofGod its place in your life, you’ll always be covered inthat cloud of glory, where you’re shielded from eviland all the depravities in the world. Praise God!EERYPOCCONFESSIONThe Holy Spirit, the Spirit of glory, lives in me; notonly am I fully covered in His glory, I carry that glorywith me to impact my world. Even now, that glorybeams from within my spirit, permeating my body, and affecting everything around me. The depravitiesand corruption in this present world have no effecton me, because I live in the glory of God. 5ONLY IMAGINE POSITIVE OUTCOMESTUESDAYNow unto him that is able to doexceeding abundantly above all that weask or think, according to the powerthat worketh in us(Ephesians 3:20).TEEROCYPhe human spirit is very powerful, withtremendous creative and imaginative ability.Remember, man was created in the image of God; helooks like God and functions like God. That’s why wesay, “Your imaginative power is your creative ability.”Knowing this, therefore, you should only imaginepositive outcomes. Refuse to worry about anything.Worry helps you imagine the worst-case scenario.Worry helps you imagine negative possibilities, and your imagination of those negative possibilitiecrystalizes them. Worry helps make your fears possible. It’s the reason God tells us not to worry or beanxious about anything (Philippians 4:6). You maysay, “What if something has gone wrong, shouldn’t Ibe worried?” No! Simply refuse to worry! It makes nodifference what happens with the economy, healthcare or health “scare.” When you worry, you set up amagnetic force that attracts to you everything that’sconsistent with what you’re worried about.F14

Never imagine that you may be sent out of thehouse because you’re behind in your rent. Don’timagine yourself losing your job. Don’t worry or panicthat money isn’t going to be available to you for thethings you need to accomplish. Don’t worry that thepain you’re feeling may be more complicated than yourealize or could result in an incurable disease. Neverhave, or form, such negative imaginations. What youimagine is what becomes. Stay your mind on the Wordand let it control your expectations.YPOCCONFESSIONI have the ability to visualize and contrive pictures ofgreat and glorious possibilities from the Word of Godand speak them forth. I speak forth peace, prosperity, divine health, salvation and victories, and I walk inthe realities of my heritage in Christ. WEDNESDAY6SERVING GOD RIGHTLYAnd Samuel said, Hath the LORD asgreat delight in burnt offerings andsacrifices, as in obeying the voice ofthe LORD? Behold, to obey is betterthan sacrifice, and to hearken than thefat of rams (1 Samuel 15:22).TEEROCYPhe Lord Jesus, in John 4:23, outlines trueworship as that which is done in spirit and intruth. There’s no other way. Serving the Lord has tobe from your spirit and according to His Word. HisWord provides the guidance, the prescribed order ofservice and worship in the Kingdom. You don’t give God what you choose or just whatyou like; you give Him what He has asked for in theway that He asked for it. You serve Him accordingto His demands, not according to your feelings oremotions. There’re people who say, “Everyone canserve God in His own way!” That’s not true. When youstudy the Bible, you’d find that those who tried to serveGod in their own way got killed or rebuked by God.Genesis 4 tells us the story of Cain and Abel: twobrothers who brought their offerings to the Lord. Cainbrought an offering of his choice, while Abel broughtF16

what God asked to be offered. Abel’s offering wasaccepted, but Cain’s sacrifice was rejected. In Genesis4:7, seeing that Cain was angry, the Lord rebukedhim saying, “If thou doest well, shalt thou not beaccepted.”How about Moses, who, instead of talking tothe rock, struck the rock? Water came out, and thepeople drank to their fill, but God was displeased andrebuked Moses (Numbers 20:1-12, Deuteronomy4:21-22). Uzzah was killed when he tried to renderservice to God by stabilizing the stumbling Ark of Godat Nachon’s threshing floor (2 Samuel 6:6-7).If you want to serve God right, give more attentionto studying the Scriptures. He’ll grant you the wisdomand insight of the Spirit on how to serve Him truly, witha pure heart and a willing mind.EERFYPOCPRAYERDear Father, I worship you in spirit and in truth. THURSDAY7SPEAK “THE WORD”But one thing is needful: and Maryhath chosen that good part, whichshall not be taken away from her(Luke 10:42).TOCYPhe Word of God is everything. Jesus reiteratedthis in our opening verse when He chastisedMartha for being encumbered and troubled by manythings. He said one thing is needful, which is the Wordof God, and her sister, Mary, gave attention to it.When the world was a chaotic mass, empty and indarkness, what did God do? He didn’t call the angelsfor a construction exercise; He didn’t fix it by trying todo anything with His hands. He only said, “Let therebe light,” and there was light (Genesis 1:3).Words are powerful, but the Word of God is allpowerful. Always remember that. When you were bornagain, you were born of the Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by theword of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1Peter 1:23). You’re an offspring of the Word, called tolive by the Word, built and being built by the Word. You dwell in the Word, and the Word dwells in you. Now, God says, “Let the same Word that brought youinto being flow out of your mouth.”FEER18

When we say, “Speak words,” it’s not just anywords you’re to speak; it’s “the Word.” In the realm ofthe spirit, the Word is all that’s necessary. So, have theWord in your spirit; let it dwell in you richly (Colossians3:16) and come out of your mouth. The Word of Godin your mouth is God talking. As you grow in the Word, all that comes into yourthinking, your imaginations, are all in sync with theWord. And then you find that, like Jesus, your life is themanifestation and revelation of the Word. Hallelujah!YPOCCONFESSIONI take my place of dominion, and reign in the Nameof Jesus over circumstances, through words. I refuseto succumb to contrary winds, but I speak the rightwords only, thereby effecting changes in my family, health, business and ministry. The world is subjectto me. I walk in righteousness and produce works ofrighteousness. FRIDAY8SINGING NEW SONGS IN WORSHIPSing to GOD a brand-new song, sing hispraises all over the world! Let the seaand its fish give a round of applause, with all the far-flung islands joining in(Isaiah 42:10 MSG).IOCYPf we praise and worship the Lord accurately, bythat I mean according to the Scriptures, we’llexperience and bask in His glory as He has determinedfor our lives. Jesus said, “But the hour cometh, andnow is, when the true worshippers shall worship thefather in spirit and in truth: for the father seekethsuch to worship him” (John 4:23). Philippians 3:3 sayswe’re the true circumcision who worship God in theSpirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidencein the flesh.True worship of God is that which is doneaccording to His Word. For example, the Word tells usto sing a “New Song” to the Lord! Yet, many haven’tthought this is important. The psalmist said, “O singunto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, allthe earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shewforth his salvation from day to day” (Psalm 96:1–2).Psalm 98:1 also says, “O sing unto the LORD anew song; for he hath done marvellous things: hisright hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him thevictory.” Then, in Psalm 149:1, we’re encouraged to“ Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praisein the congregation of saints.” Read what David, theprophet of God said in Psalm 144:9: “I will sing aFEER22

new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and aninstrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.”Why does the Spirit admonish us to sing a newsong to the Lord? It’s because the revelation of God’sWord given to His people increases. The Word doesn’tchange, but the more you open your heart to theleading and tutelage of the Holy Spirit, the more youwould know and see; the more knowledge will begranted you.As the revelation and understanding of the Wordincreases, new songs are birthed through the Spirit. The wrong songs in worship have robbed the Church ofher effectiveness for so long, and God wants a change. As we act on the Word, singing new songs in worshipand praise to the Lord, with the right revelation of truth,His glory will fill the whole earth. We recently unveiledover 200 new songs that you can sing and translate inevery language. Also join us during the Global PraiseServices transmitted live on Loveworld networks.EERYPOCPRAYERDear Father, thank you for putting in my heart abrand new song. As I proclaim your Word in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs and make melody in myheart to you, my spirit is stirred; I receive divinerevelations, counsel, direction and guidance. Thankyou for the ministry of the Spirit in my life, in theName of Jesus. SATURDAY9REPEL WORRYTherefore I say unto you, Take nothought for your life, what ye shalleat, or what ye shall drink; nor yetfor your body, what ye shall put on.Is not the life more than meat, andthe body than raiment?(Matthew 6:25).EERGOCYPod doesn’t want you worried over anything. When worry attacks your mind, don’t thinkit’s going to go away on its own; no. Worry is spiritual;that’s why you have to repel it with your shield offaith: “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewithye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of thewicked” (Ephesians 6:16).You need to protect and defend yourself againstworry and then go on the offensive with the sword ofthe spirit, which is the Word of God in your mouth, concerning your situation. That’s what you use to repelworry: the “Rhema” of God in your mouth. What does God’s Word say? It says, “Do not beanxious about anything, but in everything, by prayerand petition, with thanksgiving, present your requeststo God. And the peace of God, which transcends allunderstanding, will guard your hearts and your mindsF24

in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV). Don’t sit thereworrying and whining; declare what you want and givethanks to God because it’s done. Hallelujah!Having done that, it says, “The peace of God thatsurpasses understanding, will garrison your heart andmind in Christ Jesus.” So, here you are, circumstancesdon’t look right, everything looks like there’s trouble;yet, you’re at peace! Others can’t understand how youcan be absolutely unflustered in the midst of so muchtrouble. The reason is simple: you’re acting on theWord! You’ve cast all your cares upon Him (1 Peter5:7). That’s how to live a worry-free life.YPOCPRAYERDear Father, I have confidence in all that you’vedone for me and made available to me in ChristJesus. I rejoice always because you’ve given me anextraordinary life of glory and victory, free fromstruggles, worries and the troubles that weigh mendown. SUNDAY10CLOUD OF WITNESSESWherefore seeing we also arecompassed about with so great a cloudof witnesses, let us lay aside everyweight, and the sin which doth so easilybeset us, and let us run with patiencethe race that is set before us(Hebrews 12:1).IEEROCYPt’s important to know and understand thesymbolic significance of “clouds” as revealedin Scripture. Human beings are referred to as cloudsin the same way that they’re referred to as trees. For example, Isaiah 61:3 helps us to see the parallelbetween humans and trees. We’re referred to as thetrees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that Hemight be glorified. In another instance, the Bible says, “And he shallbe like a tree planted by the rivers of water ” (Psalm1:3). Think about that. In the same way, we’re alsoreferred to as a “cloud.” When Jesus died on the Crossand descended into hell, he brought the Old Testamentsaints who were waiting for Him in the heavenliesout of hades. They came out of their graves after Hisresurrection and some of them actually appeared tomany in the holy city. Acts 1:9 says, “And when hehad spoken these things, while they beheld, he wastaken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.”Observe that Luke, by the inspiration of the Spirit,F26

tells us, “ a cloud received him out of their sight.”Here, Luke wasn’t talking about that visible mass ofcondensed water vapour floating in the atmosphere. He was referring to what we read in our opening verse:“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about withso great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside everyweight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, andlet us run with patience the race that is set before us”(Hebrews 12:1).This huge cloud (crowd) of witnesses to the life offaith are those that the Bible talked about in Hebrews11. These are men and women who through theirfaith performed great feats for the Kingdom of God(Hebrews 11:32-33). These witnesses of faith subduedkingdoms and did supernatural things in their time;they ruled their world. They wrought righteousness;meaning when others conformed to error, theystood their grounds for the truth and prevailed. Wesometimes refer to these as those in the “Faith Hall ofFame.” Indeed, they’re a cloud of witnesses, of people, and everyone with his own glory. Hallelujah!EERFYPOCCONFESSIONI’m a tree of righteousness, planted by the Lord; I’ma water-carrying cloud, expressing the righteousnessof the Lord and communicating His salvationeverywhere and to every man. MONDAY11WATER-CARRYING CLOUDDrip down, heavens, from above,And let the clouds pour downrighteousness; Let the earth openup and salvation bear fruit, Andrighteousness sprout with it. I, theLord, have created it(Isaiah 45:8 NASB).JEEROCYPude, in his epistle, appealed to God’s peopleto earnestly contend for the faith against theattack of false teachers. In the 4th verse of his inspiringepistle, he explained why we should aggressivelydefend the truth because some godless people hadcrept in stealthily. These are people who distorted themessage about the grace of God in order to excusetheir immoral ways, and those who disowned anddenied Jesus Christ as the supreme authority and Lord. Now, notice what he says about these samepeople in verses 11-12: “Woe unto them! for theyhave gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily afterthe error of Balaam for reward, and perished in thegainsaying of Core.
