Created by Alvin Ailey and brought to thePacific Northwest by STG, AileyCamp combines disciplined dance training,personal development, creative writing, visual art instruction, and percussionclasses to support youth in developing respect for themselves and others thatmeaningfully impact their lives.AileyCamp and our other important work in the community is made possiblein part by our fundraiser DOORS. Some of you recently joined us for this annualevent—the first in-person fundraiser we have hosted in a long time. We werejoined by Motown legends The Temptations, and numerous young artists whohave come up through our Education & Community Engagement programs. Wereceived remarkable support: 1.3 million—a record for us!
