Page 2 November 2019From the Director’s Desk November 2019Happy Thanksgiving! Every month I am surprised at how quickly time passes. I’m not atall prepared for the holidays. My dogs and I are gearing up for the beginning of pheasantseason. I’ve had Abraham out running and walking to make sure he is in shape for all ofthe extra miles he will be putting on. I’ve also had Belle out, but we just walk. She is 13and doesn’t hear well anymore, but she still has a pep in her step and I have no doubt shewill be anxious to do her part. I’ve noticed she doesn’t wander as far from us anymore andI think it is because she is worried about not being able to hear us and getting lost. Onceshe smells a pheasant, I’m sure that won’t matter. They love to hunt and I love to watchthem. Whether or not we get any birds is really unimportant. We have recently finished up fiscal year 18/19. I thought you all might like to see a snapshot of the services we have provided over that time. Below are the highlights. Pleaseremember, this isn’t every single service we provide, but a highlight.Active Aging Inc.ACTIVE AGING, INC.CENTERS1034 Park Ave, Meadville, Pa16335(814) 336-1792Meadville Center1034 Park Avenue, Meadville 16335(814) 336-1792or dining room 336-1800Patty FlahertyAshley McLallen, Center Managermeadscarts@activeaging.orgLakeland Valley RegionalCenter237 S.
