running this ecclesiastical body politic andCorporate, then people of all levels willunderstand by our works and deeds andmaybe fulfill on this Divine and NationalMovement as well. The Holy Prophet NobleDrew Ali stated: A Beggar nation cannotattain to its highest spirituality. I will keepthe Europeans here long enough to teachyou how to run a government. So let’s stopbegging for what we should be workinghard to retrieve but retrieve it ourselves,because the Prophet is keeping theEuropean long enough here to teach us howto run a government. This is what we shouldlearn how to do. So I wrote this pamphlet tohelp you realize how serious this Divine andNational Movement is and to expound onwhat our mission is. Our mission is to UpliftFallen Humanity. All nations have missionsto fulfill and we will appoint missionaries tomake certain that those missions are taken4

So I hope many Moors take fromthis Pamphlet, a precious value inunderstanding and knowledge of this FreeNational Government being incorporatedunder the Hurds-Smiths Revised States ofthe State of Illinois as an ecclesiastical bodypolitic and corporate. DEFINITION OF STATE:Let’s begin and explain thedefinition of a state. A STATE is a peoplepermanently occupying a fixed territorybound together by common-law habits andcustoms into one body politic exercising,6
through the medium of an organizedgovernment, independent sovereignty andcontrol over all persons and things withinit's boundaries capable of making war andpeace and of entering into internationalrelations with other communities of theglobe. A political unity, concretely viewed, aState is a body politic possessingsovereignty. Any body politic possessingsovereignty is entitled to be called a STATE.This is a good characteristic todescribe the Moorish Science temple ofAmerica. The people described in thisSTATE would be described as the membersof the Moorish Science Temple of America.By definition of STATE, the fixed territoryfor our state would be the North West,South West, North East and North WestAmexem. The Common law habits would befocus towards our practices and chapter 327
of the Hurd-Smiths Revised Statutes of theState of Illinois. By definition of STATE, thecharacter who would have independentsovereignty in our state is the Holy ProphetNoble Drew Ali. Holy Prophet Noble DrewAli is a true sovereign. MOORISH SCIENCETEMPLE OF AMERICA is a sovereign body.We are not sovereigns but members of asovereign body politic and corporate. Incomparison with the term State, let’s nowdefined the term body politic. Body politicis defined as a Social compact by whichthe whole people, covenant with eachcitizen, and each citizen with the wholepeople, that all shall be governed bycertain laws for the common good. Also,a term applied to a municipalcorporation, school district, county, orcity, STATE or public associations.8
When looking at the term government,we can see that this term has a connectionwith the term State, body politic and bodycorporate and and we can understand thesimilaries of these particular terms.Government derives from the Latin termGubernaculum. Which is defined as thesystem of polity in a state; that form offundamental rules and principals bywhich a nation or state is governed.Polity is the form of Government.Whether theocracy, federal, anarchy etc.,there are many forms of governments butthis particular form of government that theMoorish Science Temple of America isknown as is a Theocracy. A Theocracy isdefined as Government of a state by theimmediate direction of God,(or by theassumed direction of a supposititiousdivinity,) or the state thus governed.9
As members of this body politic, werecognize the Creator God Allah aloneguides this Divine and National Movementmovement. A theocratic entity differs fromthe form of a secular entity. The MoorishScience Temple of American is a Divine andNational Movement that has Divine lawsand Holy laws that each members are touphold and preserve, if they are to earn thename of faithful as afforded by Act 7 of theMoorish Divine Constitution and By-laws.ORIGIN OF THESTATEThe Moorish Science Temple ofAmerica was established as a ReligiousCorporation by filing the Affidavit ofOrganization, Document#10105905, Form1099 recorded in the recorder of deeds Officein the County of Cook, State of Illinois onAugust 1st, 1928 A.D at 2:52pm. At that time,10
through this affidavit, Holy Prophet NobleDrew Ali gave birth to a Free NationalGovernment as an Ecclesiastical body politicand corporate under the revised statutes ofthe State of Illinois chapter 36 Section 36.Check out the science. July 20th, 1928 was onthe third day in the beginning of a new moonduring the sign of Virgo. August 1st, 1928 wasthe day of a full moon. Was it coincidencethat on July 20th, 1928 A.D., the Holy Prophetheld a meeting, had the affidavit notarizedand recorded the affidavit on August 1st, 1928A.D., at 2:52pm?The Hurds-Smiths Revised StatutesChapter 32 "An Act ConcerningCorporations" Section 36 "ReligiousCorporation Act" played a huge origin onestablishing the Moorish Science Temple ofAmerica as an ecclesiastical body politic andcorporate. of the Moorish Science Temple of Americanot operate under the Hurds-SmithsRevised Statutes Chapter 32 Section 36because this act clearly states that: "Anychurch, congregation or SOCIETY formedfor the purpose of religious worship, maybecome incorporated in the matter following:By electing or appointing, according to itsusages or customs, at any meeting held forthat purpose, two or more trustees, wardenor vestrymen, (or such officers whosepowers and duties are similar to those oftrustees as shall be agreeable to the usagesand customs, rules or regulations of suchcongregation, church or society), and mayadopt a corporate name; and upon the filingof the affidavit, as hereinafter provided, itshall be and remain a body politic andcorporate, by the name so adopted.(Source: P.A. 81-1509.)12
So as you see, when you study thisreligious corporation act and glance at theAffidavit of Organization, which is theOriginal Form No. 1099, you will see howNoble Drew Ali followed the Substantialform of this Revised Statute and thenexpressively organize a ecclesiastical bodypolitic and corporate, known as the MoorishScience Temple of America, by that name soadopted. This simple pamphlet will ends allthe confusion and foolishness of those whosay the Prophet did not establish a nationstate. I know many conspirator hearts arebeating rapidly now, so let's speed up thepace. Many people might ask how was thisbody-politic and corporate duly established?The answer is by filing in the County ofCook Recorder of Deeds office, an affidavitsubstantially expressed by the Holy ProphetNoble Drew Ali himself being the presidingofficer. members was held, he stated facts of ourpower and authority and having the Sheiksduly appointed, anointed and consecrated.This instrument is well known as “OURAUTHORITY” but is really titled theAFFIDAVIT OF ORGANIZATION. Bydefinition, an organization can include awide range of entities. Organization isdefined as: A Corporation, Government,or governmental subdivision or agency,trust, estate, partnership, or association,two or more persons having a jointinterest, or any other legal orcommercial entity.Let's go a little deeper. In order toorganize as an ecclesiastical body politicand corporate at that time, a church, societyor congregation, Pursuant to the laws of theHurds-Smiths Revised Statutes of the Stateof Illinois, the affiant had to file in the office14

This is the Revised Statute the HolyProphet Noble Drew Ali use to substantiallydraft out the Affidavit of Organizationrecorded in the County of Cook recorder ofdeeds office. He swore this Affidavit ofOrganization to himself signing as Drew Alibut filing as NOBLE DREW ALLI. Take timeto understand, he acted as a private personor private juridical in the form of twocharacters. He also also appointed personsas Sheiks (I will explain later) and alsoadopted a corporate name. the great Prophet of Alli in America. This is avery important statement on this affidavitbecause it shows that we are given a divinemission to propagate the faith of Mohammedin America. This particular Koran ofMohammed also known as the Holy Koran ofMecca is the divine instructions of the HolyProphet Noble Drew Ali passed down to allMoorish American children of all ages. EveryMoslem is born and not made. Those wholove this Divine and National movementfounded by the founder Holy Prophet NobleDrew Ali, will take heed to his divine wordsbecause they are the spirit of truth within thehighest plane of life. This Holy Koran ofMecca of the Moorish Science Temple ofAmerica is to teach man how to redeemhimself from his sinful ways and bring himback to his original state of consciousnessbefore he lost his vast estate. This HolyKoran is the highest authority known to the20
Holy laws among the earth because it isbased on the essence of Divine Law givenfrom the Prophet through his father GodAllah. This is the Holy book, where theMoorish Science Temple of America derivesits power and authority from, according tothe said Affidavit of Organization. Learnfrom these divine instructions of the HolyProphet Drew Ali on how to conduct yourlifestyle in a way that the lower self can becircumscribed and the higher self-perfected.There are rules and usages of the MoorishScience Temple of America and these ruleswould consist of the Moorish DivineConstitution and By-Laws, Book ofHumanity, Holy Koran Circle seven etc.,Every statement issued by the Holy ProphetNoble Drew Ali to the Moorish Americansshould be honored in spirit along that narrowpath that we are to walk because he is anangel sent to bring us the everlasting gospel.21
A Rule is an established standard, guide orregulation. A principle or regulation set up byauthority prescribing or directing action orforbearance; as, the rules of a legislativebody, of a company, court, public office of thelaw of ethics. The five principals that westand on are love, truth, peace, freedom andjustice. Uphold these principles to the best ofyour advantage because By living by thesesprincipals, you are in accordance with theHoly and Divine laws of the Moorish ScienceTemple of America. We do not choose to liveby hatred, slander, lewdness, murder andtheft. Now that we know the rules of thisstate. Lets now go into the customs andusages. Customs and Usages are definedas: A usage or practice of the people, bycommon acquiescence, and by long andvarying habit, has become compulsory, andhas acquired the force of a law with respect22
to the place or subject-matter to which isrelates.So the question is what do membersof the Moorish Science Temple of Americahave as far as customs? The customs that wehave are what we practice of course. Theseare the five highest principles that wepractice daily which are love, truth, peace,freedom, and justice. The Moorish Americanprayer is a custom at the opening and closingof the Circle seven meetings. Celebrating theHoly Prophets Birthday January 8th and OurAuthority Day on July 20th each year are alsocustoms. Simply wearing a Moorish Fez orTurban are customs we have to honor ourFore-mothers and Fore-fathers. Teaching ourpeople that they are not negroes, blackpeople, colored folks or ethiopians is also acustom and method of uplifting. Anothercustom is flying our national flag on the land23
of our ancestors, which is known as theMoorish Flag and has been flown in our landfor over 50,000 years. Currently, theMoroccans in the Moroccan Kingdom havefalsely adopted our flag and has caused us agreat damage. The Moroccan flag has beenseen by the Holy Prophet Noble Drew Alisince the 1920’s and the present MoroccanKingdom in North east Africa today hadfalsely adopted our flag in the year 1956.There are many others customs adopted aswell that we take to heart along with ourroyal heritage. Study, Study, Study.COVENANT AND OATH OF THESTATE:When we look back at the definition ofbody-politic, we realize that there areimportant actions that citizens, nationals24
and subjects are to make accustomed withthemselves. One action that I speak of isknown as covenanting. A Covenant of acitizen is an agreement or promise of twoor more parties, by deed, in writing,signed and delivered, by which either ofthe parties pledge himself to the otherthat something is either done, or shall bedone, or shall not be done, or stipulatesfor the truth of certain facts. Let's stopright there!!!!As Moorish Americans here inAmexem now commonly known as America,under the Divine leadership of the HolyProphet Noble Drew Ali, we are to attend tocovenants put in place under this bodypolitic. There is but one covenant for theunity of the Asiatic race. This covenant isknown as "A Holy Covenant of the AsiaticNation" this is reference to Chapter 25 of the25
Holy Koran Circle 7 of the Moorish ScienceTemple of Science. This Holy booklet wasdivinely prepared by the Holy Prophet NobleDrew Ali. When you covenant through theholy covenant of the Asiatic nation, youcovenant with the whole people and thewhole people covenant with you. To covenantis to make a pledge. Pledge has a broaddefinition but the main focus for now is that,it is a promise or agreement by which onebinds himself to do or forbears himself to door forbear something. The promise oragreements are the conditions of the pledgeitself.When thinking about U.S citizenship, Ipersonally use to wonder why "14thAmendment citizens" pledged allegiance tothe Flag of the United States of America.Unfortunately, "U.S citizens" think that beingborn here makes you a citizen, this is nottrue. nationalized. There is a big difference and Iwill go further into this later on in thispamphlet. To lawfully be a subject or citizenof any form of government depending on therules and customs of that society, under itsconstitution and government, one mustsubscribe and take an oath to its constitutionand government. This goes for proclaimedMoorish Americans as well. By taking anOath of Amnesty and Reconstruction of theEmancipation Proclamation; an executiveorder issued by President Abraham Lincoln in1865, you are a true American citizen. Thisoath is to be subscribed by a Grand Sheik,which is a officer lawfully authorized toadminister such an oath and then such oathhas to be recorded in the County.When a member of this body-politic andcorporate takes the Oath of Amnesty andReconstruction, he becomes part and parcel27

So thankfully, act 6 of the MoorishDivine Constitution and By-laws of theMoorish Science Temple of America, is theagreements between the member and thefounder. Is this not a pledge as well? TheHoly Prophet Noble Drew Ali expressed thatto be a Moorish American member of thisbody politic, you have to proclaim it, teachour people their nationality(Moorish30
American) and divine creed(Faith ofMohammed), to know that they are notnegroes, blacks, colored or ethiopians andproclaim a free national name(El or Bey) andin exchange the person and effects will beredeemed by the Holy Prophet and ainhabitant of the north and south westernshores of Africa. I am thankful to be a MoorishAmerican member of this body-politic andcorporate.ESTATE AND PROPERTY OF THE STATEFee Simple Absolute is defined asan estate limited absolutely to a man andhis heirs and assigns forever withoutlimitation and condition. fee-simple Estate is one in which the owneris entitled to the whole property, withunconditional power or disposition duringone's life and descending to the heirs andlegal representatives upon one's deathintestate. Such estate is unlimited as toduration, disposition, and descendibility.By fee simple absolute man or grantorof our estate would be Noble Drew Ali andthe heirs would be the Moorish Americanswith the Free National Name El or Beyannexed to their birth name. So be carefulnot to throw away your name for a morsel ofbread. Since the Holy Prophet Noble DrewAli is the owner of the whole property, hisposition of the estate is the Holder-in-duecourse. Holder in due course is defined "Aholder who takes an instrument for value, ingood faith. and without notice that it isoverdue or has been dishonored or of any32
defense against or claim to it on the part ofany person. A payee may be a holder in duecourse".As Moorish American beneficiaries,the Prophet Noble Drew Ali is the holderin-due-course of any and all lawfulinstruments, real or personal estates,tenements and hereditaments of theMOORISH SCIENCE TEMPLE OFAMERICA because he is the owner of thewhole or entire property, once it istransferred to him. This is likewise whenthe Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali grants theland described to us. A transfer of landlawfully takes place when one falls inaccordance with the Deed of Conveyanceand the Fee Simple Absolute Deed. Act 6 ofthe Moorish Divine Constitution and Bylaws is our deed of conveyance.33
Act 6. With us all members must proclaimtheir nationality and we areteaching our people their nationality andtheir divine creed that they may know thatthey are a part and a parcel of this saidgovernment, and know that they are notNegroes, Colored Folks, Black People, orEthiopians, because these names weregiven to slaves by slave holders in 1779and lasted until 1865 during the time ofslavery, but this is a new era of time now,and all men now must proclaim their freenational name to be recognized by thegovernment in which they live and thenations of the earth, this is the reason whyAllah the great God of the universeordained Noble Drew Ali, the Prophet toredeem his people from their sinful ways.The Moorish Americans are thedescendants of the ancient Moabites whoinhabited the North Western and SouthWestern shores of Africa.34
I know that there is such a confusionas far as what land is of the Moorish ScienceTemple of America. This particular land isdescribed as the 1928 vast estate in the HolyKoran Circle 7 Chapter 47 verse 1 through 7.Verses 1 through 6 is the biblical descriptionof the landmass and Verse 7 is thegeographical landmass of the Fee SimpleAbsolute. This is what is known as thelawful description of the land. It is best touse longitude and latitude when describingthe land coordinates by metes and bounds.All our lives, we been taught to describeparcel(s) by lot, block, subdivision or anassessor’s pin number. This is what knownas a “graveyard cemetery description”. Whatbetter way than to describe unconsciouspeople dead in the eyes of law. This“graveyard cemetery description” only exist"legally" within the realm of the “U.S”. This35
is how you were plucked off the land(Deuteronomy 28:63). Do not think theSTATE OF ILLINOIS actually consistgeographically within the boundaries of thispresent Moroccan empire and this is not todefame that body corporate known as the“U.S” but it is a fiction constructed out ofthe jurisdiction of the District of Columbia.The Fee Simple Absolute name of our landis Amexem and it extends throughoutnorth-west and south-east and northwestand southwest of Africa. Verse 7is described by metes and bounds of thesaid Fee Simple Absolute. Now that weknow we are the inheritors of all of the landdescribed, how do we receive it? It has to bereceived through a trust.39
PERSONS, TRUST, TITLEOF THE STATEIn this topic, first we will go into theSheiks, of the Moorish Science Temple ofAmerica. According to paragraph 164 ofthe Hurds-Smiths, "There shall be two ormore of its members as trustees, wardensand vestrymen or such officers whose powersand duties are similar to those of trustees, asshall be agreeable to the usages and customs,rules or regulations of such congregation,church or society". Easily by reading thisparagraph, you can clearly get an idea onwhy there were five Sheiks/Officers/Trustees40
noticeable on the Affidavit of Organization,at that time. Theses Sheiks were NOBLEDREW ALLI, MEALY EL, MALL BEY,LOVETT BEY AND FOREMAN BEY. Notesthat theses Sheiks were and are governmentofficials as well as the Sheiks now. Werethese Sheiks appointed or elected? Accordingto the Affidavit, these Sheiks were appointedand not elected. Elected is in its officialsignificant with it is the idea of a vote.Persons of the Moorish Science Temple ofAmerica were not voted in but appointed. Soit is obvious on why the Holy Prophet NobleDrew Ali crossed out elected and putappointed. So let's look at the termappointed. Appointed means to assignauthority to a particular, use, task, positionor office. This is also why the Prophet use theterm appointed. Power and Authority wasgiven to those Sheiks, who were anointed,appointed and consecrated missionaries of41
the Prophet. Those who want power andauthority will have to go to the Holy ProphetNoble Drew Ali for permission. All who gainpower and authority from the prophet shouldstay humble and they shall be rewarded.What types of entities were appointed? Theanswer is Persons. Notice that the termperson, on the Affidavit of Organization wasin all caps as most people would ridiculouslyexpress. You didn't know that did you?Sheiks are what is considered "Interestedpersons" which included heirs, devisees,children, spouses, creditors, beneficiaries,and any others having a property right in orclaim against a trust estate or the estate of adecedent, ward or protected persons whichmay be affected by the proceeding. It alsoincludes persons having priority forappointment as personal representatives, andother fiduciaries representing interestedpersons. The meaning as it relates to42
particular persons may vary from time totime and must be determine according to theparticular purposes of, and matter involvedin any proceeding.To act on behalf of a person, you cancarry out and enforce the functions of thatperson.
