Month of October ̴ Month of the Rosary The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This isprimarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary iscelebrated October 7. A Rosary will be prayed in each of our churches, eachSunday in October (October 6, 13, 20, 27) before the start of Mass. Rosary mes are: x St. Alphonsus at 8:00am x St. Ann at 8:30am Rosaries and Rosary prayerx Our Lady of Lourdes at 8:30 booklets will be available atx St. Patrick at 10am each of the churches. x St. Columbkille at 10:30am x St. Michael at 10:30am Annual Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebration Each year the Diocese of Pittsburgh recognizes the crowning achievement of couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in the current year with Mass presided by Bishop Zubik at St. Paul Cathedral,followed by light reception. Due to scheduling conflicts, the GoldenWedding Anniversary will take place later than usual. The celebration will now occur on November 17, 2019. Mass will begin at 2:30pm. We Celebrate HymnalThe We Celebrate hymnal will provide our songs for Mass. This is a change for OurLady of Lourdes, St. Michael, and St. Ann churches. We are grateful for the personalsacrifices made by St. Michael parishioners to purchase their current hymnal sevenyears ago. The hymnal can be saved for possible use on special occasions. All sixparishes will learn the Mass of Saint Paul VI. All parishioners will sing the same Gloria, Holy, Holy, Mystery of Faith, Amen and Lamb of God.
