HARVEST LIFE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETGreetings in the matchless name of Jesus ChristMy name Is General Overseer Henry Epps Jr, and I am the founder of the Harvest Life Church Inc, and theHarvest Life ministries. Who am I and why am I qualified to teach on the apostolic/prophetic ministry?Well let me tell you my story so that you can understand my perspective and background. I grew up in asingle mother household and my mother was a very zealous woman who loved God and she taught meand six siblings about the bible and about Christian principles. We grew up as members of the Seven-DayAdventist Church and the World-Church of God a Sabbath day believing church. As a teenager I startedlearning martial arts and fighting in tournaments. I was an angry young man filled with rage and I startedhanging out with criminals who were very ungodly. When I was sixteen the police pick me up and informedme that if my friends committed a crime and if I was with them that I will be charged the same chargeseven if I was innocent? After hearing this I went home and I made a decision to join the army when Iturned seventeen and to leave New York State. I enlisted into the army and I went to Korea andIdecided to make the army a career. When I retired from the army many prophets came to me andinformed me that Go was calling me into the ministry but I rejected the words of people and waited forthe voice of the Lord. Around 1995 I was driving to work in Harker Heights, Texas I lost control of my carover a bridge and when my car stopped the Lord spoke to me and said, “Henry you will perform my2

HARVEST LIFE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETministry like I have commanded you to do!” After this divine encounter I had a dream/vision and it wouldchange my life. In my dream I was pushing a multitude of people before me to run to the top of largevalley as the people crossed a small stream the multitude was running and disappearing into the cloudsin the “Rapture” as I was one of the last I looked back behind us and the small stream became a roaringriver like the Colorado River and people attempted to cross the river but the river swepted them awayand the multitudes were far larger than the ones before me, and the Lord spoke to me and said, “Thoseare the ones who rejected my grace and they will endure the time of Tribulation that is soon to come? Ifelt much sadness in my heart and then I woke up knowing that I had a ministry to win souls from thedestruction that is soon to come! Over the last twenty years I have walked in the office of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher. I have founded the Harvest Life Church Inc, and the Harvest lifeministries. I have self-publish over seventy Christian books on discipleship and the five-fold ministry. Ihave completed the school of the apostle/prophet with Apostle Jonas Clark ministries and Apostle LesCrause ministries. I have completed the priesthood of Melchezedek and now I am focusing all of myattention to teaching the five-fold ministry. It is my desire to help you to develop a vital thriving ministryand prepare you for the Office of the Prophet.OBJECTIVES FOR THE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHET1.2.3.4.5.To prepare students for the office of the prophet. To help prophets to mature in their ministry. To help prophets learn how to minister, preach and teach the word of God.To develop the prophets ministry. To help the prophet to self-publish their first book.3

HARVEST LIFE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETINTRODUCTIONA WARNING TO FALSE PROPHETS AND FALSE TEACHERS1 Woe unto the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! Saith Jehovah. 2Therefore thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, against the shepherds that feed my people: Yehave scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them; behold, I will visit uponyou the evil of your doings, saith Jehovah. 3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of allthe countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and theyshall be fruitful and multiply. 4 And I will set up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; andthey shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be lacking, saith Jehovah. 5 Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and he shall reignas king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 6 In his daysJudah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called:Jehovah our righteousness. 7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that they shall nomore say, As Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 8 but,As Jehovah liveth, who brought up and who led the seed of the house of Israel out of the northcountry, and from all the countries whither I had driven them. And they shall dwell in their ownland.Against false prophets9 Concerning the prophets. My heart within me is broken, all my bones shake; I am like a drunkenman, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of Jehovah, and because of his holywords. 10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourned; the pasturesof the wilderness are dried up. And their course is evil, and their might is not right; 11 for bothprophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith Jehovah. 12Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery places in the darkness: they shall be driven on,and fall therein; for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith Jehovah. 13And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal, and caused my peopleIsrael to err. 14 In the prophets of Jerusalem also I have seen a horrible thing: they commitadultery, and walk in lies; and they strengthen the hands of evil-doers, so that none doth returnfrom his wickedness: they are all of them become unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereofas Gomorrah. 15 Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I willfeed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall; for from the prophets ofJerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land. 16 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Hearken notunto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they teach you vanity; they speak a visionof their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Jehovah. 17 They say continually unto them thatdespise me, Jehovah hath said, ye shall have peace; and unto every one that walked in thestubbornness of his own heart they say, No evil shall come upon you. 18 For who hath stood in thecouncil of Jehovah, that he should perceive and hear his word? Who hath marked my word, andheard it? 19 Behold, the tempest of Jehovah, even his wrath, is gone forth, yea, a whirling tempest:4

HARVEST LIFE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETit shall burst upon the head of the wicked. 20 The anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he haveexecuted, and till he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall understandit perfectly. 21 I sent not these prophets, yet they ran: I spake not unto them, yet they prophesied.22 But if they had stood in my council, then had they caused my people to hear my words, and hadturned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. 23 Am I a God at hand, saithJehovah, and not a God afar off? 24 Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not seehim? Saith Jehovah. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Saith Jehovah. 25 I have heard what theprophets have said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. 26How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, even the prophets of thedeceit of their own heart? 27 that think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreamswhich they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forget my name for Baal. 28 The prophetthat hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? Saith Jehovah. 29 Is not my word like fire? Saith Jehovah; andlike a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? 30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that steal my words everyone from his neighbor. 31 Behold, I am against theprophets, saith Jehovah, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. 32 Behold, I am against themthat prophesy lying dreams, saith Jehovah, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by theirlies, and by their vain boasting: yet I sent them not, nor commanded them; neither do they profitthis people at all, saith Jehovah. And mockers of the true prophets33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, what is the burden ofJehovah? Then shalt thou say unto them, what burden! I will cast you off, saith Jehovah. 34 Andas for the prophet, and the priest, and the people that shall say, the burden of Jehovah, I will evenpunish that man and his house. 35 Thus shall ye say everyone to his neighbor, and everyone to hisbrother, what hath Jehovah answered? And, what hath Jehovah spoken? 36 And the burden ofJehovah shall ye mention no more: for every man's own word shall be his burden; for ye haveperverted the words of the living God, of Jehovah of hosts our God. 37 Thus shalt thou say to theprophet, what hath Jehovah answered thee? And, what hath Jehovah spoken? 38 But if ye say, Theburden of Jehovah; therefore thus saith Jehovah: Because ye say this word, The burden ofJehovah, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of Jehovah; 39 therefore, behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off, and the city that I gave unto you and toyour fathers, away from my presence: 40 and I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, anda perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.Jer 23:1-40 (ASV)5

HARVEST LIFE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETBeware of false god and golden calves?“When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gatheredthemselves together to Aaron and said to him, “Up, make us gods who shall go before us. As forthis Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has becomeof him.”2 So Aaron said to them, “Take off the rings of gold that are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.”3 So all the people took off the rings of goldthat were in their ears and brought them to Aaron.4 and he received the gold from their hand andfashioned it with a graving tool and made a golden calf. And they said, “These are your gods, OIsrael, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!”5 When Aaron saw this, he built an altarbefore it. And Aaron made a proclamation and said, “Tomorrow shall be a feast to the Lord.”6And they rose up early the next day and offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings. Andthe people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.7 And the Lord said to Moses, “Go down, for your people, whom you brought up out of the landof Egypt, have corrupted themselves.8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way that Icommanded them. They have made for themselves a golden calf and have worshiped it andsacrificed to it and said, ‘These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land ofEgypt!’”9 And the Lord said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked.10now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them, inorder that I may make a great nation of you.”Ex 32:1-10 (ESV)10

And he said unto him, Say on. 17 And Samuel said, though thouwest little in thine own sight, west thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel? And Jehovahanointed thee king over Israel; 18 and Jehovah sent thee on a journey, and said, Go, and utterlydestroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed. 19 Whereforethen didst thou not obey the voice of Jehovah, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst that whichwas evil in the sight of Jehovah? 20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice ofJehovah, and have gone the way which Jehovah sent me, and have brought Agag the king ofAmalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep andoxen, the chief of the devoted things, to sacrifice unto Jehovah thy God in Gilgal. 22 And Samuelsaid, Hath Jehovah as great delight in burnt-offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice ofJehovah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 Forrebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaamfor profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. “Jude 1:11 (NKJPreaching Lesson OneSermon preparationChapter 1.Definitions.1. Homiletics. The word homiletics is derived from the Greek word homilia, and signifies either a mutual talkand conversation, or a set discourse. The preachers in the early church were in the habit of callingtheir public discourses "talks," thus making it proper to speak of what is in the present day in somequarters called "a gospel talk."From the word homilia has come the English word homiletics, which has reference to that science,or art,—or indeed both, which deals with the structure of Christian discourse, embracing all thatpertains to the preparation and delivery of sermons and Bible addresses. It shows us how, scientifically, to prepare a sermon or gospel address, and how, effectually, to deliver it. Homiletics, then, is the art and science of preaching.2. What Is Preaching?Preaching is the proclamation of the good news of salvation through man to men. Its twoconstituent elements are—a man and a message—truth and personality. The gospel proclaimed bymeans of the written page or the printed book is not preaching. There is no such thing as seeing"sermons in stones." Again, the proclamation of any kind of message other than the gospelmessage, which is the truth of God as revealed in the Bible, and in Jesus Christ especially, is notpreaching. Much of what is heard from the so-called Christian pulpits of today is not realpreaching. The discussion of politics, popular authors, current topics, and kindred themes mayrightfully be called addresses, and may result in the emulation of the orator, but such efforts canin no sense of the word be called preaching, and such men have absolutely no right, so long asthey continue to deliver such addresses from the pulpit, to the honored name of preachers of thegospel. The message of the very truth of God through man to men—that is preaching.3. What Is a Preacher? The preacher, he who is separated by God for the specific work of the preaching of the gospel, isa man who, from one side of his nature takes in the truth from God, and from the other side of his15

HARVEST LIFE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETnature gives out that truth to men. He deals with God in behalf of men; he deals with men in behalfof God.This truth must not be mechanically expressed. It must not be merely truth through the mouth, over the lips, in the intellect, or by means of the pen, but truth through his character and personality.Every fiber of the man's moral and spiritual nature must be controlled by the truth. The force of ablow is measured not by the arm only, but also by the weight of the body behind the arm. And justhere is the difference men instinctively feel between one preacher and another. The hearer ispersuaded that the truth which is being proclaimed from the pulpit has come over one preacher, whereas it has come through the other. Consequently the preaching of the one is tame anduninteresting, while that of the other is strong, fascinating, and convincing. The preacher must not be a mere machine, an automaton; he must be a real man—a good man, andfull of the Holy Spirit and of faith; and the effect of such a life and such preaching will be thatmuch people will be added to the Lord (Acts 11:24).The personality of the preacher has very much to do with the effectiveness of his message. Anartist may be a profligate and yet produce a picture or a statue which will call forth the admirationof the people; an author may be dissolute in morals and yet produce a book that will set the worldaflame with his popularity. These are works of art and can be considered apart from the manhimself. But not so with the preacher and his sermon: it is a part of himself, indeed it must be theexpression of his very life and experience. If such is not the case, then, what is called preachingwill be nothing but "sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal."Personality counts in preaching. Is not this one of the reasons why many sermons do not usuallymake good reading?—there is the absence of the personality of the preacher. Of course, there aresome very splendid exceptions to this fact, but often, alas very often, the sermon is but an echo ofthe man. Have we not more than once wondered at the dryness of a sermon we were reading whenat the time we heard it we were moved to the very depths of our being? What was lacking? Thepersonality of the preacher that is all— but how much is wrapped up in that personality! The root of the matter must be in the preacher himself before he can proclaim it with convictingforce in and through the sermon. Given a man who is a born artist and you have only to supply thepalette and brush, or chisel and mallet with mere

ministries. I have self-publish over seventy Christian books on discipleship and the five-fold ministry. I have completed the school of the apostle/prophet with Apostle Jonas Clark ministries and Apostle Les Crause ministries. I have completed the priesthood of Melchezedek and now I am f
