It’s a really fun projectand you can create a whole host of different looks depending onthe sizes of your scraps and the colour combinations.YOU’LL NEED:Fabric, cottonThin wadding or interliningMachine thread, GutermannAll seam allowances are10mm unless specified10 GOOD MACHINE GUIDE 20211Create a patchwork, 22cm x32cm, pressing the seamsopen as you go. Trim theedges so they’re square. Makethe base piece, 15cm x 32cm, inthe same way. Stitch anotherpatchwork for the pocket, 11cm x32cm, then cut fabric the samesize for the lining, plus amatching piece of interlining.2Lay the patchwork pocketand lining together, rightsides facing. Pin theinterlining piece to one of thewrong sides. Sew along one longedge, joining all three pieces.and pocket.
