Welcome to SCBWI’s Winter Conference 2022!Over the years, SCBWI members have told us that they want more access to the peoplewho can say “yes” to their manuscript or art. We’ve heard you loud and clear! The 2022Winter Conference features unprecedented opportunities to hear directly from theprofessionals who acquire art/manuscripts and represent children’s book creators.Panels of editors, agents, and art directors will give frank and practical advice aboutfinding success in the coming year. Attendees who have registered for the Up Close withPublishing Professional sessions will learn directly from editors and agents about howthey work with writers and illustrators and the types of projects they acquire/represent.In addition to the keynotes, panels, and breakout sessions, other parts of yourexperience will include the member bookstore, the Portfolio Showcase with beautiful artfrom our gifted members, and a half-day of sessions just for illustrators.
