If you haven’t done so already, make this decision now;don’t wait another moment. Salvation is the grace gift of God to man, received bypersonal faith alone, in Christ alone. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you willbe saved (Acts 16:31). He who believes in the Son [Jesus Christ] has eternal life; buthe who does not, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him (John 3:36).The Christian way of life is unique. To understand and live it, you need the uniqueresources God provides -- the Holy Spirit and the Bible. To have the enabling ministryof the Holy Spirit empower you to live this unique life, be in fellowship with God theFather and be filled with the Holy Spirit by naming known sins to God the Fatherthrough silent prayer. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgiveus our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Unconfessed sinin your life will prevent you from learning and applying the Word of God.The Bible contains over 7,000 promises. Learn them -- apply them -- and you willhave a shield of protection pick up the shield of faith which is the Word of God(Ephesians 6:13).RICK HUGHES EVANGELISTIC MINISTRIESP.O. ADVERSITY -- TESTING -- SUFFERINGAfter you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to Hiseternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.1 Peter 5:10Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your Godis the One who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God,so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggleis not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against theworld forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenlyplaces. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist inthe evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, havinggirded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, andhaving shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flamingarrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Ephesians 6:10 17Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. For he will belike a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fearwhen the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a yearof drought nor cease to yield fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow therighteous to be shaken. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increasespower. Isaiah 40:28-291

ADVERSITY -- TESTING -- SUFFERINGEven if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. Do not feartheir intimidation and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an accountfor the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence. 1 Peter 3:14-15For with God nothing will be impossible.
