Financial Stewardship“A good tree does not bear rotten fruit, nordoes a rotten tree bear good fruit.”(LUKE 6:43)Are you using your God-given gifts in the way Godintended? Do you compare yourself to others andcomplain about what you don’t have instead of beingthankful for what you do have? God gives each of usunique gifts and a unique plan. Listen to how God iscalling you to use your gifts, to bear good fruit, for theglory of His name.BISHOP’S APPEAL WEEKLY REPORTFor the week ended February 23/24, 2019Church Support Budget Needed:Actual Church Support:Stewardship Project –ProLife Across America:Parish Needs – Roof 13,847.00 7 ,358.32 993.3220.00Stewardship Collection Schedule:This Weekend, Mar 2/3 – Parish Needs - RoofNext Weekend, Mar 9/10 – Pro Life Across AmericaThank you for your continued generosity towards our parishand community.PARISH GOAL 129,890CONTRIBTION SO FAR 30,108@Edward IsidoreThank you for your generosity!Liturgical Minister Schedule for 03/09/2019—03/10/20194:00 pm8:00 am10:00 amMusiciansYouth VoiceAge to Age, LoisVoices of PraiseLiturgy AssistantKeith DeneysBetty DrobeckDeb KaplaRob HendricksHaylee StoychoffEli GrenfellSam MeadMorgan MillerTaylor MillerJan PetersLori FlanaganAnne MeadLynn GrzywaVirginia BauldryAndrew AlsteenEucharisticMinistersDeacon GregDonna PamperinJoe RoemaatTerri RoemaatKeith DeneysJudy SzprejdaJulie ButtonDeacon GregTanya BubBetty DrobeckDonna GrenfellShirley HavlikDavid LissMonica PawlakDeacon GregShirley BayePaula EngelhardtSteve EngelhardtDeb KaplaAnne FoleyTania LefevreUshersFabian BaranczykJudy CharlesRuss CharlesJohn MalewiskiTodd GrenfellMike GrzywaSandy MatuszakRichard MatuszakTim MooreBrad SutrickTom SmithNEED 1Altar ServersLectorMARCH 3, 2019 3

HEALTH NOTESCOMMON EXPERIENCES OF GRIEFShock and Disbelief: This “numbness” seems to have a purpose; nature’s way of cushioning the blow. This disbelief ordenial is normal. Even after the shock wears off, you stillcan’t believe it completely.Anger: Anger is a reaction to a situation we see as unjust. Some bereaved want to find someone to blame for the deathand may become angry with the person who has died.Though anger is a normal feeling experienced with grief, thesooner you are able to let go of it, the sooner the healing willbegin.Guilt: The “if onlys” can haunt you. If only I made him goto the doctor sooner; if only I had another chance to say “Ilove you” etc. Do something in memory of the person whohas died. Donate to one of their favorite charities in theirhonor. Write a letter to the deceased and tell them all thethings you wished you had said.Sadness: A time of learning to live with the loss. This is thetime when you need a friend or some support. You needsomeone to listen to your stories, sometimes over and overagain. Talking to someone who is non-judgmental helps.Healing: Healing takes time. Eventually, memories of thedeceased will bring happiness. Although you will always feelthe loss, the pain lessens in time. You will know that youhave truly grown when you reach out to others who are suffering a loss.Source: Blaney Funeral Home, Grief CounselorMany times a grief support group gives you the extra supportyou need to know you are not alone. You receive comfort, support and a listening ear. Please consider joining the Ss.Edward & Isidore’s grief support group.Peace and Hope,Carol Mueller, Parish NurseMEMORIAL GARDENIf you are interested in purchasing a brick in ourmemorial garden, please call the office 865-7844.Memorial Bricks are a great way to remember a lovedone.
