If you have somefinancial means, the nonprofit low-cost clinics provide dental services at lower thanaverage or sliding scale fees and the waiting period for an appointment is short.Free clinics and programs provide services at no cost andare made possible by volunteer dental professionals andsupport staff. As you can well imagine, the demand forthese services is great, but the supply of volunteers islimited. Patience and perseverance are keys to receivingcare, because most have long waiting periods for restorativeservices (such as dentures and fillings). However, everyeffort is made to provide timely care to those in pain and atrisk for infection. Calling more than one organization andbecoming familiar with their processes will increase yourlikelihood for treatment. We sincerely hope this directory helps you find thebenevolent dental care you need.Other options available for those in needDid you know that SoonerCare covers all routine and diagnosticdental costs for qualifying Oklahoma children? For information, see the SoonerCare listing in the Statewide section of this guide. If you’re employed but your employer doesn’t provide dentalinsurance, you may find Delta Dental’s Patient Direct discountprogram, PPO–Choice Advantage or PPO–Point of Serviceprograms to be a good option for you. For details, call 405-607-2100(OKC Metro) or 800-522-0188 (Toll Free) or visit www.DeltaDentalOK.org.Copyright 2015 Delta Dental of Oklahoma.Permission is granted to copy and distribute this document or to link directly to the online version at:https://sites.deltadentalok.org/site docs/DDOK FND ResourceGuide.pdf
