A brand from Besa LightingThe Costaluz product line has been developed to meet the needs of coastal outdoor areas, while also delivering elegantdesigns at an affordable price. We recognize that most luminaires cannot reliably withstand these difficult environments,where the salt air can quickly age the appearance.Glass:The designs illustrated in this catalog are achievedthrough the use of European molded blown glass,handcrafted utilizing centuries-old techniques passedfrom one generation to generation. Once blown into thedesired shape, the glass is then hand decorated in any of avariety of finishes to complete the effect. This use of glassallows us to interpret both contemporary and traditionalstyles in such diversity.Brackets:The brackets and post fitters for the blown glass diffusersand globes are constructed of powder coated, castaluminum. This finish is very durable and is a perfectcompliment to characteristics of the glass. Stampedstainless steel fitter pans are used for our flush wall mountluminaires. Stainless steel “set screws” and other parts areutilized to retain the glass and are corrosion resistant.Finishes:Costaluz fixtures are available in white, black or bronzefinishes. The decoration of the glass diffusers and globesis hand applied by skilled craftsmen, then fired to ensure adurable and lasting finish.
