Off-grid, on-grid or hybridstreet lightingSoluxio street lights can be installed in 3modes, optimized for any environment.By installing a Soluxio off-grid, invasive andexpensive trenching is a thing of the past. Asno cables are necessary, installation is quickand simple. This results in minimal installationcosts and no electricity costs.Off-grid also means reliable. The Soluxio,Soluxio Connect and Soluxio NxT are in thisway insensitive to power blackouts, makingthe Soluxio the best option in unpredictablecircumstances.Soluxio can also be installed on-grid. Thegreen electricity that is generated by the PVmodules is then directly fed into the electricitygrid. At night, the LEDs are powered by gridelectricity. This way, energy neutral lightingwithout the need for battery storage can beachieved.A hybrid combination of a battery and gridconnectivity is also possible. The solarenergy is stored in the battery which servesas a back-up in case of grid-failure. Whenmaximum reliability under all circumstances isrequired, this is the best solution.16

Maximized performanceAt the heart of each Soluxio product is acustom designed microcontroller unit (MCU)that directs all energy flows and maximisessystem performance. Each side of every solarmodule is individually tracked for maximumpower output. Furthermore, all battery cellsare continuously balanced and monitored toextend battery life. This means maintenanceis reduced to a minimum. Additionally, everySoluxio is equipped with a GPS receiver. Theexact time and location given by the GPSreceiver ensure automatic adaptation tosunset and sunrise.The electronics can also be coupled toother smart city systems for integration ofadditional functionalities. The Soluxio andSoluxio Connect can optionally be fitted withUSB charging ports.18

Throughan intuitive visual user interface, the smartmanagement platform presents clear insightsin the performance data of each individualproduct. The management platform canbe accessed and regulated from anywherein the world. Because the Soluxio’s smartelectronics automatically detect and reportdefects, reliability is ensured certain.
