Every single meal in this plan is a slow cooker“dump” recipe, meaning there’s no pre-cooking or special instructions. You will just literally throw everything inbags and freeze.The preparation instructions this time use a completely new technique designed to make preparation as fast aspossible. Instead of doing each recipe one at a time, you will use each ingredient one at a time. This means thatyou will only handle each ingredient once. I did this by myself, with NO help from Mark and I was completelydone in 90 minutes. I know you can do it too! Here is what is included in this printable pack:1. Printable Shopping ListsThis shopping list has the specifics of what you will need to purchase at ALDI. It lists the section of the storeyou can find the items and a box to check off each item. This should make your shopping trip as quick andeasy as possible (even with kids along).2. Pantry ListALDI does not sell everything, but they do sell most things. We took a look through our pantry and made alist of all the things most people have in their pantry – that way they don’t have to buy it again. ALDI sellsinexpensive spices, so if you don’t have all of the spices and other items listed you can usually find them atALDI for an additional cost.3. Detailed Preparation InstructionsFreezer cooking works best when you can devote one afternoon or evening to prepare almost a month’sworth of meals. We’ve gone through and figured out the best way to get it all done ahead of time – so justfollow our instructions and you will be all set! I would set aside 2 hours of prep time for this plan.4. RECIPE 2MONGOLIAN BEEF(SINGLE RECIPE, DO THIS TWICE)ALDI INGREDIENTS 2 lbs. pot roast or chuck roast, trimmed of excessfat 1/2 cup soy sauce 1 Tbsp (or 3 cloves) minced garlicPANTRY INGREDIENTS 2 tsp of minced ginger (or 1/2 tsp groundginger) 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 1/4 cup water 4 Tbsp water, divided 2 Tbsp cornstarchOPTIONAL INGREDIENTS 4 green onions1 Tbsp soy sauce1 Tbsp olive oilPREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:1.2.Combine beef, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic and ginger in a gallon-sized freezer bag.Zip the bags closed and freeze.1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.Thaw in the refrigerator the night before or the morning you plan to cook.Cook on low for 8 - 10 hours.Remove the meat from the liquid and place on a cutting board.Shred meat and remove any excess fat.
