Agency Projection PlansSlide 2

Set-Aside Setting MBE Contracts (Agency Level) 15% MBE Purchases 15% Projections Each agency is responsible for reviewing itsannual procurements and submitting a plan formeeting its MBE requirement Plan Due 3rd quarter

DAS Contract SectionLists all contracts agency projects to have DAS bid ontheir behalf in the fiscal year and which quarter theyproject to let it. Includes commodity type, description,contract value, and set-aside (or embedded MBE)amount.

Agency Contract SectionLists all contracts agency projects to have in the fiscalyear ( 50,000 and below) and which quarter theyproject to let it. Includes commodity type, description,contract value, and set-aside (or embedded MBE)amount.

Agency Purchase SectionLists all purchases agency projects to have in the fiscal year andwhich quarter they project to buy. Disbursements for purchasingare represented in sections (DAS contracts and AgencyContracts) plus non-contract expenditures and debit purchaseswhere agency intends to voucher payments

Projection Plan Summary SectionShows agency's eligible MBE budget and amount ofprojected set-aside spend. Agency must project 15% ofeligible budget to be set-aside for projection plan to beapproved.

Director Approval SectionAgency projection plans now must be signed off by theirdirector, as opposed to the MBE/EDGE officer. This allowsfor more top-down buy-in, knowledge, and commitment.
