Technology Strategy:UAS Strategic PlanUAS has incorporated strategies related to use oftechnology in the UAS Strategic Plan: Provide technology and services which support and enhancelearning Expand access to written and electronic information resources Provide coordinated instructional design and delivery resources forfaculty and program development. Assist faculty in integrating technology into instruction that leads toenhanced learning. Provide coordinated information technology instruction based oncomputing resources used for UA administrative and academicsupport. Assist and encourage all staff to integrate technology improvementinto campus best business practices.

Technology Strategy:UAS Online Policies An active course homesite will be created for everyUAS course section;While access to some content and activities may berestricted to class participants, the UAS course siteswill be visible to the public.Course sites are retained indefinitely.Design of the system should maximize studentinteractivity and program and faculty control.The UAS Online strategy is based on regional policies recommended bythe UAS Teaching Learning & Technology Roundtable and approved bythe UAS Faculty Senate in 1999.
