DEAR FRIENDS,TO SAY THAT IT HAS BEEN AN EXCITING TWELVE MONTHS AT RENEWED JUST BARELYSCRATCHES THE SURFACE! Thanks to your generosity and support, the 2015/2016 fiscal year marks theachievement of our biggest milestones yet. Not only am I referring to dollars raised (please refer to the financialsnapshot above), but the excitement and momentum generated by you – our amazing community – has propelledus forward, allow us to reach and impact more individuals in need of our help than ever before. For 14 years, your generosity has molded us into an essential resource for sufferers of eating disorders and thosewho support them. Begun as a coalition of professionals brought together by their passion for treating thiswidespread, yet harmful disease, this organization has grown in influence and service to provide programs, treatmentreferrals, a supportive community and – most importantly – renewed hope to those seeking recovery, around theclock and free of charge.Over the past year, we have undergone a thoughtful and exciting rebranding process to reflect our wider andmore robust capabilities and to amplify our mission. As you may have heard, we have carried the Eating DisordersCoalition of Tennessee into the beginning of a new chapter as Renewed, Eating Disorders Support. With excitement,we announced the organization’s new name in February of this year and are grateful to our community for rallyingaround this transition with positive energy and support. You continue to play a significant role in helping others findcourage in the recovery process and hope for a renewed future. Thank you for making that possible. We hope that you’ve kept up to date with our work and progress presented in the Renewed Review – a quarterlypublication that we created to share program outcomes and updates with you throughout the year. If not, you mayfind them on our website HERE ARE A FEW OF THE HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS: Provided personalized assistance to 135 individuals and families in need of recommendations for eatingdisorder treatment. At least 950 more utilized our online “Find Help” database to locate specializedtreatment resources. Launched the Partners in Recovery mentor program, which matches individuals in recovery with thoseworking towards recovery from an eating disorder. We currently have 6 individuals actively serving asmentors and are excited to expand this group over the next year. Spoke to a variety of groups about eating disorder education and awareness, including Girl Scoutscamp counselors, high school and college students, Vanderbilt athletes and coaches and church youthgroup leaders. Trained approximately 200 clinicians on eating disorder warning signs, intervention andtreatment protocol. In the pages that follow this letter, you’ll see the names of our friends and supporters who madeour work and vision possible for the 2015/2016 fiscal year. Thank you again from the bottom ofour hearts. We hope you will consider how you can continue to make a difference over the nexttwelve months, encouraging resilience, courage and hope in all who are impacted by eatingdisorders. With gratitude,Kathleen Morphis Yabroudy, President
