State Approval/LicensureMiller Motte College is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. This authorization must be renewed each year and is based on an evaluation byminimum standards concerning quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety and fiscal responsibility.The school and the CDL: Class A Tractor Trailer program are licensed by the Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security. The Surgical Technology program meets these requirements.Students located outside of SC: Graduates are eligible to test for the Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by the NBSTSA as it is a nationalcertification.Students located in AZ, CO, ID, IO, KA, KE, LA, MD, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, OR, RI, SD, TX, UT, VA, WA, WY: It has been determined that the PharmacyTechnician program meets the requirements to obtain licensure in these states.Students located in AL, CA, DE, GA, HI, MO, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TN, VT, WI: These states currently have no licensure requirement to obtain employment as a pharmacytechnician.Students located in AK, AZ, CT, FL, IL, IN, ME, MA, MI, MN, ND, OH, OK, WV: It has been determined that our Pharmacy Technician Program does not meet therequirements to obtain licensure in these states.Eligible to provide training services under the Comprehensive Vocational Rehabilitation Act.Miller Motte College, as a branch campus of Platt College located in Tulsa, OK, has been approved by the State of Oklahoma to participate in the National Council forState Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC SARA). NC SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of post secondary distance education.The State of California is not a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. Miller Motte College is not approved by the CA Bureau forPrivate Postsecondary Education. Miller Motte cannot enroll residents located in the state of California.
