The Montney - Pushing the Limit6–7 November 2018 Hudson Calgary, Alberta, CanadaPhoto: Seven Generations EnergyThe 2016 and 2017 SPE Workshops demonstrated a steep learning curve for competitiveprofitable production from the Montney. Sweet spots were identified, costs were reduced,EUR per well length has increased, and break-even price was lowered. However, everylearning curve flattens out. The theme for the 2018 Workshop is: Where is the current limit ofall of these advancements, and what can be done to push this limit further?During this two-day workshop, Operators from the Montney will get the chance to share whatthey think are the levers available to push the limit further. Discussion between presentersand the audience will be greatly encouraged. The Keynote will address the potential marketimpact of an LNG project in Canada and technical sessions will address new developments inspecific areas. A panel discussion will close out the workshop and provide the opportunity todiscuss relevant topics amassed over the two days.Corporate SponsorWho We AreSPE is the largest individual member organization serving managers, engineers, scientistsand other professionals worldwide in the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry.
