Ensures product doesn’t havehard failureC.4BACKGROUNDThe integrated software tool will allow OCTO to proactively monitor and analyze databaseperformance metrics in real-time to identify potential issues or performance bottlenecks affectingcritical services and applications in both the OCTO datacenters (ODC1 and ODC3). TheActive/Active architecture eliminates single points of failure, ensuring the primary networkmonitoring system is highly available and redundant). The Office of the Chief Technology Officer will not acceptsubstitution of software, hardware manufacturer, configuration, model, or type.C.5.3 The Contractor shall transfer ownership of all products to the Office of the Chief TechnologyOfficer, District of Columbia Government by September 30, 2018. This ensures OCTO isauthorized to receive support from the manufacturer.C.5.4 The Contractor shall deliver physical and/or virtual equipment by September 30, 2018 withelectronic confirmation to the Contract Administrator.11

CW64225 – Solarwinds LicensesSECTION F: PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND DELIVERABLESF.1TERM OF CONTRACTThe term of the contract shall be from the date of award through September 30, 2018.F.2OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACTF.2.1 The District may extend the term of this contract for a period of two (2) one-year option periods,or successive fractions thereof, by written notice to the Contractor before the expiration of thecontract; provided that the District will give the Contractor preliminary written notice of itsintent to extend at least thirty (30) days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice doesnot commit the District to an extension. The exercise of this option is subject to the availabilityof funds at the time of the exercise of this option.
