CEO’S REPORT2019 can be defined as a year of transition forEntegra, one marked by change, achievement, and momentum. My first year as your CEO wasrewarding in many respects; while it becameapparent that much had changed since I departedin 2016, it was comforting to realize that our corestrengths continued to grow even stronger overtime.Entegra’s foundation is built on the strength ofour relationships with our members, and thiscommitment remains our number one priorityyear-over-year. Our team of passionateprofessionals is exceptional – they are dedicated andfocused on best serving our members and helpingthem achieve their financial goals. From a financial perspective, in 2019, our depositsgrew by 5.56%, and loans increased by 3.66%,achieving our objective of moderate growth. Whenreviewing our profitability, expenses were wellmanaged as we adapted to a decrease in revenuesduring the year. As a result, net income was 1.396million, which exceeded our budget expectationsbut did result in a reduction from 2018 levels.Operationally, we were able to achieve numerousinitiatives guided by our commitment to creatingoutstanding member experiences. In July weexpanded our digital footprint with the launch of ourOnline Account Opening services. New members canjoin Entegra at their convenience from our website, and existing members can open additional accounts. We also launched our first member satisfactionsurvey at the end of the year. We were pleasedto receive an 89% satisfaction score and positivefeedback on how we can enhance the memberexperience even more as we move forward into2020.Employee development was a top priority forthe Executive Management team this year. Weengaged consistently with our employees throughsatisfaction surveys, focus groups, committees, andincreased investment in training and development.88% of our employees formulated developmentplans in 2019 as part of our commitment tocontinual improvement. This momentum will carryforward into 2020 and will continue to be a highpriority.Entegra is proud to support the growth anddevelopment of our communities by helping to giveback to non-profits, charitable organizations, andcommunity groups in the neighbourhoods we serve.93% of staff volunteered their time to support avariety of community initiatives throughout 2019. Inaddition to their time, our teams also made financialcontributions to various local charities and causesthrough our Jeans for Greens initiative. These represent just a small fraction of ourmany achievements in 2019. I am so proud of ouremployees for their passion and commitment tomember service, the leadership of our Board andmanagement, and grateful for the trust of ourmembers. We will continue our pursuit to buildlasting relationships, one member at a time, basedon providing exceptional service and sound advicetailored to your financial needs.Because it’s not just about where you bank; it’sabout where you belong.BRENT TURMANCHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

PRESIDENT’S REPORTAs your Board of Directors, it is our role toprovide organizational input and guidance, ensuring the day-to-day business conductedby Entegra is in line with the corporatestrategy of the Credit Union. We take onthe role of providing insight and leadershipto the Executive Management team withgreat care and sincerity. By relying on thestrong governance principles that our Boardhas implemented, we ultimately ensureaccountability to our stakeholders – ourmembers.A significant undertaking for us last year wasthe hiring and acclamation of our new CEO,Brent Turman. For those who do not know,Brent served as the Chief Financial Officer forEntegra from 1998 through 2016 when hemoved to a new role within the credit unionsystem. The decision to have a familiar face backto lead Entegra into a new decade and era wasmade carefully, and our confidence in Brent hasonly grown since he rejoined Entegra last April.Another major initiative for the Board was towork alongside the Executive Managementteam to develop and implement a five-yearStrategic Plan. While reviewing and finalizingour direction, the Board’s objective was toensure that going forward, all organizationaldecisions will be made through the lens of thisplan and weighed against the strategic directionof the Credit Union. Much time, attention, anddetail went into the development of our fiveyear Strategic Plan, which focuses on the keythemes of Profitability and Growth, Technology, and Organizational Culture.Throughout 2019, the Board systematicallyreviewed the governance practices andframework for consistency, efficiency, andvalue to ensure alignment with our newStrategic Plan. Our governance policiesencompass the practices through whichEntegra manages our business and works tomeet our financial, operational, and strategicobjectives to achieve long-term sustainability.Going forward, we will continue to review andpropose new governing policies to ensure thatour governance framework is receptive to theevolving needs of the Credit Union. As we begin to move through 2020, theCOVID-19 pandemic has provided us with a newset of challenges in serving our members andprotecting their financial wellbeing. On behalfof the Board of Directors, I want to offer oursincere thanks to our dedicated employeesand Executive Management team for theirunwavering commitment to providing ourmembers with the service and support neededat this unprecedented time, while prioritizingthe safety and security of all. DEVELOPINGWe believe in the power of our people. Our capacity to provideour members with an exceptional financial experience startswith our staff; that’s why we’re committed to giving everyEntegra employee the right tools to help them succeed.Last year we made development a priority company-wide. Ourteams focused on coaching, growth and empowerment for allstaff, no matter where they sit in the organization. We took thetime to reflect upon what it means to be a part of the Entegrateam now, what we want it to look like in the future, and howwe will work together to strengthen a corporate cultureattuned to the values of our Credit Union. We implementednumerous initiatives at every level of this organization to ensurethat we continue to evolve and grow together, and morespecifically, to better serve our members.EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENTDEVELOPMENT PLANSDevelopment plans allow our employees to take anactive role in their progression and growth with theCredit Union and their careers in the long-term.88%of staff created a personal development planLEADERSHIP TRAINING100%of leaders underwent leadership training

PAYING IT FORWARDIn May, Entegra was selected to participate inCDF Canada’s Women’s Mentorship Program. This popular training program provides femalemanagers of overseas financial co-operativeswith a unique opportunity for professionaldevelopment. We had the honour of welcomingEvelyn Olunja, Head of Marketing and CustomerService at United Nations Savings and CreditCo-operative Society in Nairobi, Kenya, to ourCredit Union. While in Winnipeg, women in a variety of roles across ourorganization spent time with Evelyn to share ideas, experiences, and challenges. Said best by Evelyn, “Together we looked to uncover solutions andequip ourselves with the necessary knowledge to effectively and efficiently makea positive difference in individual members’ lives while growing the Co-operativeMovement.”THE PARKING LOTIn 2019, the Parking Lot, an employee-led initiative whose objective is to evaluate, analyze, and implement ideas brought forward by fellow employees, was introduced. The committee is made up of seven employees from varying levels of the organization, who each bring a diverse set of skills, experience, and knowledge to the table. The Parking Lot executed two significant projects last year: the elimination of onetime-use plastic water bottles in-branch, and the implementation of Entegra’s firstShred Day event.By replacing disposable bottles at our branches with refillablewater coolers and recyclable cups, we have eliminated 7,500bottles distributed annually.Reduce our carbonfootprint by loweringemissions from deliveries.Ensured that 1,000 lbsof paper were securelyrecycled.

CELEBRATING OUR TEAMAn important aspect of developing as a group is recognizing our areas of strength andcelebrating our successes. In addition to our long-standing service awards, last fall, weinitiated a new program, Entegrity in Action, to acknowledge staff accomplishmentsin relation to teamwork, initiative, and member service. Through ourcommunity support initiatives, our staff have the opportunityto contribute to groups they care about through volunteering, donations, and event participation. It also allows us to connectwith neighbourhoods outside our trade area, by partneringwith community groups and teams and continuing to supportorganizations that are important to our members, too.HIGHLIGHTS34Organizations supported93%Staff volunteer rate362Total volunteer hours24Events attended 35,744Donated
