With weeklyOctober updates, users come back to increase not only their basicknowledge on things like email spam and phishing, but also theirknowledge on IT Policies, encryption, and different tools UTC has tohelp keep the network safe.

Phishing GameThis third party phishing game scrolled through a variety of different “emails,”where the users had to quickly determine whether it was spam, a phishingattempt, or a legitimate email.
Scavenger HuntThe Scavenger Hunt allows users to learn about a few different websites andresources: the Security Awareness website, our IT Security homepage, and our ITPolicies tool. Users can play in teams and then compete to find out who got the mostcorrect answers.
VideosThis year we had four different videos highlighting how each subject affects UTC. ITSecurity managers presented different viewpoints in a simplified manner to reach asmany users as possible. These videos were also included in articles, andpresentations.
Q&A ToolThe Q&A tool is a resource we’ve used for two years. Users put in questionsanonymously. Questions are answered by our security team and subject matterexperts.
Reading RoomThe Reading Room is filled witharticles showing users how to besafer at work and at home.Examples and links are alsoincluded.
Crossword PuzzleAfter the user goes through the reading room, they can use their newknowledge and vocabulary in the crossword puzzle.
Awareness QuizThe quiz asks eight randomizedquestions for a user to learn howsecure they really are. Afterwards,they get a score, the correctanswers, and a chance to retry withdifferent questions.
