2012 American Electric Power Foundation Annual ReportThe American Electric Power Foundation complements a tradition of corporatephilanthropy exhibited by American Electric Power and its regional utilities in supportof AEP’s community relations goal: “To support and play an active, positive role in thecommunities where we live and work.”The Foundation provides ongoing resources for charitable initiatives involving higherdollar values and multi-year commitments than AEP’s operating companies might beable to provide individually.
