"Thismeans all too often LGBT seniors are deprived of receiving the healthcare and the support and the assistance they need and and deserve."Your Aging andDisability ResourceCenter HelpLineThe training opportunity is ideal for registered and licensed nurses,social workers, psychologists, nursing home administrators andoccupational therapists. The training is currently grant-funded, so it isoffered at no cost. However, to earn certified educational units (CEUs),the cost is 20 for 1.5 CEU hours.The Aging and Disability ResourceCenter (ADRC) HelpLine is the placeto start for help if you are a senior, anadult living with a disability or acaregiver. ElderSource CustomerService Specialists are available tolisten to your concerns and are trainedto help you access local agencies,services and programs.
